Just about every draft report says he is hands down the best route runner in the draft. This guy has Jordy Nelson written all over him...

Quickness off the charts. Good height, outstanding hands. Not a burner but has deceptive speed.. 2nd or 3rd round consideration?

For some team, hopefully not us in the 2nd or 3rd--which should be rounds loaded with talent more needy spots. With so many WR prospects, he may not go until the 4th or later anyway.
He is talented.

Btw, I think Jordy Nelson resembles Dez Bryant in size, musculaure, and speed way more than he does this Abbrederis guy. Nelson is a physical specimen while Abbrederis is 6'1 195 and no muscles at all. He does have good hands though. I think he makes an NFL roster for sure.

I don't see the Jordy Nelson comparison (Nelson is much bigger and an overall better athlete). Looks to me more like a Harry Douglas, Brian Hartline, Jerricho Cotchery type. The kind of guy that could excel in a defined role but you don't necessarily want shouldering the load for any long stretch. Also more of an intermediate field type player than a guy that threatens deep, which Jordy is excellent at.

He is not getting alot of love except in the scouting community. Seems like he is always open. Would be a 4th round bargain, except he seems like a slot guy and this team already has Beasley and Harris.

Wisconsin WR Jared Abbrederis' "speed is a question, and his 40 time will be important" at the NFL Combine, writes NFL.com's Mike Huguenin.
Huguenin likes Abbrederis' "excellent hands" and "crisp routes," but he's right in drawing attention to the importance of the receiver's 40 time. Abbrederis was highly productive at Wisconsin and does his best work on the edge. We were impressed with the 6-foot, 189 pounder's agility, ability to separate, and propensity to come down with the ball in contested situations at Wisconsin.Feb 13 - 5:20 PM

Would be all for this guy 3rd or 4th round. Think he would be a perfect pick for us. Dez and Williams deep, this guy running tight routes underneath - with great hands. Seams exactly what we should be looking at - not 1st or 2nd rounders...

Plus - wasn't his 40 time at the combine alot quicker than what people thought he was gonna run ? I seem to remember he ran pretty quick.
