This incident happened on 4/1, NFL closed the incident less than 7 months later. No 15 month investigation and no suspension despite the evidence of physical contract.

“We’ve closed the case on Mr.Landry. Despite the evidence presented, we will not pursue legal action at all. He has said he has learned from this and will donate his next check to a foundation. He apologizes deeply.”

The NFL should not be investigating these matters, period. They need to defer to the actual law enforcement agencies that do.

The NFL is clearly not qualified to have a part time gig investigating criminal complaints.

Leave it to the pros, right or wrong, and go with their conclusion.

the investigators that apparently found ALL the evidence that the cops didn't in the Zeke case, couldn't find a video that TMZ got a hold of?

Ha,Ha,Ha! I just saw on TMZ live, last night about a N.Y. GIANTS football player having to be " taken down" by a half dozen casino security personnel from BACK IN 2012,,,,AND IT'S JUST NOW BEEN FLOATED TO THE SURFACE,,, these spineless teflon clods of the flawless self perceived are beyond reprehensible,,, the league(owners) had to have been made AWARE of that incident in a timely manner,,, as there was one hundred fold x10 MORE verifiable proof of ' domestic violence'& 'conduct detrimental to the brand' THAN what was foisted upon #21

I think the NFL had this video and felt it didn't warrant a suspension (I would agree in this instance - there isn't much there). If this is the entirety of the incident they were investigating, then there's really not much to investigate, it was 3-5 seconds long with video.
