Bruised knee they say - Collins looked good in that red zone appearance.

And that was a CHEAPSHOT by that Steeler. I'm glad to hear Campbell is OK.

I hope Campbell is alright, as I want the 'Boys to sweep the 'Skins with their starting QB.

That being said, man, that looked bad. Too soon to say, of course, but that had to hurt.

They're back! Top 10, book it.

Chuckle... they have one sack in two games, 0 ints, 1 total turnover forced... and they've faced two teams that weren't exactly offensive juggernauts last year...

I presume you don't wanna talk about how the Skins have been outgained by their two opponents thus far this preseason, 574 yards of total offense to 470...

You guys have some serious, serious problems on offense... your offensive line play is quite bad, and your offense is dink and dunk, little to nothing being generated downfield... in the first half, Chris Cooley was just about all of your passing offense... your running game has been all but nonexistent...

Bottom 10, book it... :D

On defense ?

Even the 2nd and third team havent given up a TD. Thats pretty good in my eyes at this point.

The offense is not playing their starting RB, and sparingly their 2nd RB. The OL is missing the LT (rookie starting), and still trying to work in a LG. Played decent last night but not great.

Actually, the Steelers were ranked in the top 10 last year in offense, and are also ranked in the top 10 in the preseason - whether or not they're an offensive juggernaut, who knows?

They don't have the sacks -- well, some sacks have been negated by penalties, for example, Andre Carter had a sack last night, but he was tripped by the lineman, of course the guy was flagged for it, but Carter didn't get the sack -- but they are still getting pressure and stopping the run.

The whole preseason, it's been 3 and out, 3 and out, 3 and out.
I'll take that over fancy stats any day.

Points given up per game and the time of possesion is what defines a great defense. Fancy stats and sacks are just the topping on the overall picture. The Skins defense has done a great job of forcing 3 and outs. I believe there the only defense in the preseason so far that hasn't let up a TD even by the 2nd or 3rd stringers.

"If you can't beat your opponent, intentionally go for their starting quarterback's knees. Postseason. Regular season. Preseason. Who cares? Just get it done." - from The Steelers Way by A. Holesrus, soon to be a New York Times bestseller (just as soon as someone works up the nerve to write it).

Oops! we have another inaccurate statement here.

Little to nothing being generated downfield? Dink and Dunk?

Campbell is averaging 8.1 per pass -- and considering the average catch for the receivers has been 11.4 yards per play, I'd say there's been next to nothing as far as yards after catch.

The Commanders have 7 plays of 20+ - not too shabby

The Skins top 5 receivers are averaging 12.0 15.5 13.3 and 13.0 per catch

Come on man, did you just make that up :) I think a more accurate statement would have been "Mark Brunell has been dinking and dunking in the preseason."

The same part Wade Phillips doesn't comprehend.
the Broncos wondered if Cowboys coach Wade Phillips got a little carried away with trying to send some sort of preseason statement.

"I don't know if Wade's (ticked) off the Broncos fired him, but it sure looked that way," Broncos safety John Lynch said. But I think they might have broken the code of ethics for the preseason."
