Dallas won despite Garrett tonight... That reverse crap was awful!

Had Austin showed any of the signs he showed in KC in any of the earlier games, he'd have seen his playing time increased. Just like Choice has after his stint last year, and just like Ogletree is (albeit gradually) now.

I'd love to hear it.

Your Julius Jones love-fest being a prime example.
Austin played in less than 1/4 of the snaps and was thrown at only 4 times in the first three games. He's not going to produce anything given those kinds of opportunities, so his playing time would never increase.Idgit;3177426 said:What's the problem with having players prove themselves with the playing time they do get before inserting them into the starting lineup again? Kozier pulled, then blocked Cricket in the back. Witten just pulled up and waited for the backfield to be penetrated instead of leading barber around the edge. And Barber still could have had the first down if he'd only been decisive and put his head down.casmith07;3177181 said:That 4th and inches call with Kosier pulling across the back of the offensive line was baffling, to say the least.
I let out a few expletives at the TV.

To me, it was obvious in training camp that he was one of our two best receivers. That's when those types of decisions should be made. He shouldn't be getting only 1/4 of the snaps through the first month of the season.
