1 Playoff win in 8 years...

Absolutely stunning

It really is an impressive accomplishment.

I mention 8 years, but in reality, it is 11 years. He also tanked Wade Phillips. 11 years in incompetence.

He destroyed Wade Phillips team when he was here. Ill never forget Crayton telling everyone that the day Wade was fired Garrett busted out all these new plays on offense. Obviously holding them all back until he got Wade fired.

Garrett is scum.

If Jerrah were to give the scarlet clap another extension... I would have to stop watching.

The funniest thing was the opening episode on Amazon Prime. They showed a clip of Garrett on the sidelines when he was backing up Aikman. They showed him clapping it up. Too funny.

The thing about Garrett that scares me is that i'm afraid of what will come after him. Will it be Sean McVey? Or will it be Dave Campo or someone that coaching has passed by? I'm not sure if Garrett is the best this team can do as of right now until Jerry completely gives up control which does seem to be close.

I would take both of those guys over Garrett. No one can be worse than Garrett. Not possible.

Dave Campo got a raw deal as HC. They really were in salary cap hell when he took over. Jerrah was at his worst during that time period.

Yep, I agree. Garrett would have gone 0-16 with those teams.

IMO, that Atlanta game was just incompetence. The Bronco's game too. IMO, Garrett could've been fired after those two games and it would've been justified. What kills a coach in this league is being overconfident and arrogance. Its fine when you win. But when you lose? Its killer. He had far too much confidence in Chaz Green and Byron Bell in that Atlanta game and I have no idea why.
The confidence wasn’t the issue. The lack of adjustment when he saw what was happening was the issue. Like somebody said earlier. Dude has everything it takes to be a good coach except being an x/o scheme guy which is what the great ones are.

That's JG's signature MO. Think about all the games we lost when we had a big lead in the first half. The opponents make the adjustments and we end up losing. Games against GB, Detroit, and ATL in the past and the Rams last year.
If not for Heath, it would have happened against Oakland too last year.

He very well could outlive Jerry.

...like we have something to lose by getting rid of Garrett.

Garrett's like a cat with nine lives. The Joneses seem to have unconditional love for the guy. Gotta wonder how long it'll last.

That's a pretty big stretch...how do you know this other than what crayton said also how do you know Garrett didn't try to breakout new plays but wade didn't agree and wouldn't let him?

So much speculation to rag on Garrett..meaure him on what he has done as the coach which is above average in reg season and average in postseason..

No amount of venom or vitriol on this board is going to change anything about him or his status as the hc....i suggest you get on the Garrett train and hope for him to prove your assumptions wrong
