Jason Garrett Replacement

There are possibilities out there that have been Head Coaches SOMEWHERE before

Which is clear is the biggest problem Red Ball has- he needs OJT on things any successful Head Coach has already figured out

Like Clock Management
Adjusting when something does not work
etc

Holmgren would be better as the HC

:lmao2:

Honestly, just interview everyone instead of immediately hiring fast-talking redheads who "look" like they'd be a good coach.

The guy is flat out awful. Flat out.

My vote would be for Payton. Sure, you interview the guy and many others. But I think we already know what we have with Payton. He was great last time he was in Dallas, and it's obvious Nawlins misses him very much.

Give this same team a year to rebuild the OL and a real HC like Payton, and I think we have a good shot at the big one.

Keep going down this same road, hoping for Garrett to morph into Landry, and we're in for more disappointment.

Who? What? Where? When? Why?

Discuss.

As of right now the only coach I'm interested in is Sean Payton. I had a great deal of faith in Garrett up until last weeks game against the eagles. Today only reinforced that opinion. The only time Dallas seems to consistently move the ball on offense is in the hurry up, but Garrett is so reluctant to do it.

I would actually take Wade back if it came down to he and JG. I feel that strongly about it. I'm not sure if JG didn't derail Wade while why he was here, and I've never thought that.

As for reality Payton, Holmgren, or Gruden and I would be jumping for joy!!!

That's the one thing I cannot figure out!

Why wait to be in distress to go fast? Start the freaking game like the score is already 14 - 0 in favor of the other team!

The discussion should begin and end with Sean Payton. Until it's 100% clear that he's not available, he's the only name the Cowboys should focus on.

Garrett was part of Wade's problem--no doubt. Did he "derail" him? That's hard to say, but he didn't help Wade much. That said, I agree. Wade is a better head coach.

Payton, Holmgren, Gruden or Cowher.

Take your pick. I'd be thrilled to have any of those guys.

In order, I'd take Payton, Cowher and it's a toss up between Gruden and Holmgren.

Keep thinking that.

You honestly believe that?? I hate to call people straight up stupid, but if you truly believe that you are. It's not happening, so stop.

Better sooner than late.

What was he thinking with third and xxx and 16 secs to go in the game to call another pass ? And thats just one example. I still watch our games but with less and less interesst and enthusiams. Not because we are a bad team or have bad players but just because i totally lost faith in the offensive game-management.

Please give me someone who understands offensive playcalling and has a feel for the game and for game situations. I don't need a smiley at the OC position i need someone with knows how to fill that role.
