That's on Garrett, not the players. His offense is like a skeleton of apendages (i.e. all gimmick schemes and wrinkles) with no spine (i.e. no base offense on which to build consistency).

We have no identity on offense. We don't have a bread and butter play. For our 90s teams, it was the lead draw to Emmitt. We have nothing that we will or can run consistently right now on offense that we can depend on.

Since '03, why do we always look flat coming out of Thanksgiving? It was no different from last year when we needed a miracle to beat lowly Detroit.(If that Lions' defensive player had just fell on Romo's fumble, instead of trying to scoop it up and be a hero, that would have sealed the game) Same with the year before when we barely beat a Giants team that had so many in-house issues.(The Giants beat us statistically 2-1, and pretty much kicked us in the teeth)

Probably because of a lack of a December run game. Defense and Run games shine post thanksgiving.

If Garrett's offense lacks a stable foundation, we are in trouble. I want this team to succeed, but i dont think we can with garrett. Wade is doing a fine job on the defensive side. What more can you ask of him? I don't think Jerry would ever let Garretts job be in jeopardy.

I could be over reacting after a loss, but take one of the wins against an impressive team.

14-10 win vs Washington... Where barber ran for 114 yards. We were lucky barber kept getting big yardage in the 4th quarter.

We faced a harder to run against team this week, and we couldn't run it down their throats to kill the game.

We had the same game plan in the 4th. We tried to run and kill the clock with 8 minutes left. We didn't get a first down. Is that how we win now? 8 minutes left. And the 49ers/Seahawks game... we continued to run it with barber until we ran him into the ground. We got 3 wins, great.

Now what, we are facing 3 of the toughest defenses in the league.

Damn our RB injuries.
