with him being listed full participant today, how'd he do last week in his 4 snaps?

anyone recall what part of the game he played?

I expect a few factors here. It was important to Peters to play in Philly which is likely why he got snaps. But as an argument to keep McG in there, I expect that McG was doing enough for the staff to let the left side continue to develop and gel.

I noticed he was beat badly on one play. I believe he was pulling and did not get there in time

Yeah Peters pulled and was supposed to take out the first wrong color jersey he saw.. #57 ran right by him and hit Zeke in the backfield.. Fortunately Zeke spun off that dude and ended up gaining 5-6 yards anyway.. PFF doesn't count that as a broken tackle for Zeke though.. I think Collinsworth hates Zeke as much as some of the fans here.

Wow. I bet he wasn’t healed up yet but wanted to go to try to help. Didn’t work out well. Hope he heals up. He was getting a lot more snaps per game. They said he could miss multiple game..

He seemed more ideal for swing tackle. Not a full time OT anymore but good enough to fill in a few snaps on either side. And McGovern is a solid backup interior but nothing special as a starter.

..Yep, I remember that. Peters is huge dude.

2 X Frigerator = Peters. Surprise he moves that well.

He looks slow in space, wish they left him at LT and put Tyler at guard to run the ball better inside, but specially because McGovern is good for at least 2 pressures per game on the passing game. I hope Tyron comes back for the las quarter of the season.

He's a good veteran presence, especially with a rookie playing LT, but at this point he looks like a back up. He's heavy and slow - that's what happens when you're 40, a big guy, and you miss camp. Nate Newton has been going on about that for weeks, and he would certainly know from his own experience. Father Time remains undefeated.

Expecting him to be All Pro Jason Peters at this point seems unlikely. He's there if we need him. But if we ever have to depend on him to play full time, temper expectations.
