Jason Peters played 4 snaps vs Eagles

I think Nate brought this up on the podcast. Peters is a big body but he can no longer move. He is a liability. Back up only at this point.

with him being listed full participant today, how'd he do last week in his 4 snaps?

anyone recall what part of the game he played?

It was the 3rd series, the one that ended in us turning the ball over on downs.

"Jason Peters is going to start, dominate and not get replaced at Left Guard!"

What do you think, Larry Allen?

I think he looks too slow and too upright. But he is old and needs time to get in football shape. I do not see him as an upgrade over McGovern or Farniok right now. But his experience might make a difference at some point,.

Sorry folks but Peters will be gone once Tyron Smith comes back and they move Tyler Smith back to guard.

.. I think Collinsworth hates Zeke as much as some of the fans here.

How is all this hate still possible with a lot of the NFL players wearing the " stop hate" messages on their helmets?

I expect a few factors here. It was important to Peters to play in Philly which is likely why he got snaps. But as an argument to keep McG in there, I expect that McG was doing enough for the staff to let the left side continue to develop and gel.
McGovern is making the most of this opportunity.

Having a good LT helps him. If he can learn from Peters AND develop, it's all good for Dallas

I dunno man.. All I know is that the company that Collinsworth is part owner in credited Zeke with 1 broken tackle in a game where I counted as many as 7... 3 of which were irrefutable because the defender either had both arms around him or they collided head on and Zeke ran through him. Even if one doesn't count the ones where the defender only got one hand on him as a broken tackle (which I have seen them do for other backs) Zeke should have been graded out at no less than 4 that night. Yes PFF says.. 1.. I can't think of any other explanation other than they dislike the guy.. If you have another one I'm willing to hear it.

Ok but, How do you explain collingsworth being so eager to kiss Daks butt that he completely invents a story that Dakota bought he mama a new house between seasons when Daks mama had been deceased for 6 years ?

My point is that there is no reason to distinguish between dak and zeke as aside from the bogus 6 game suspension both have been good people and been within the law.

It's just collingsworth being collingsworth. Do you think that Stephen A really hates Dak because he excoriates his performances and laughs at him?

People have to stop follow groupthink and groupspeak and start to be free thinkers

I don't go along mindlessly with the 93% as I'm expected to. I stray off the farm and do my own reseach for answers and truth

..Yep, I remember that. Peters is huge dude.

2 X Frigerator = Peters. Surprise he moves that well.
that the issue, so bring in Peters and immediately use i him in zone blocking moving sideways ,. that Moore for ya..i mean you bring him in and let him body up defenders and run behind him. our coaches do this all the time many times in the game short yardage they put Pollard in and run him right in the middle for 1-2 yards..its just ignorant use of talent in the packages of play calls.it makes zero sense.

...yep, run it behind Smith and Peters for short yardage. WIll work almost 100% of time.

There are plenty of people who love Dak but hate Zeke.. even among our own fan base. The thing about Collinsworth (there's no G) is that I remember that Steeler game during the Covid season when he went on and on and on about how it was time for Zeke to hang 'em up and that he was missing holes and what not. Then there was a play on which Zeke initially looked inside but bounced it for a minimal gain and Collinsworth fell all over himself trying to illustrate on the replay how Zeke would have had a big gain if he kept to the inside and that was illustrative of what he was talking about.. Problem was when they showed the replay it clearly showed an inside backer standing right in the hole that Collinsworth claimed Zeke had "missed." He tried to rush on to the next play but I caught it and I'm sure I wasn't the only one.. I honestly don't know why these talking heads say and do what they do.. other than it gets ratings which in turn gets them paid.. I find the lack of intellectual honesty in some of them absolutely maddening though. I mean damn.. you're already rich.. would it really kill you to just tell it like it is?

Look Ronnie, I dont know what's in another man's heart, but I do know that it all to easy to assign something nefarious to someone that disagrees with our opinions.

I look for systemic abuse of power or words against an individual or group. Kind if like 25 years of lopsided officiating against teams like the Raiders or Cowboys.

Or like a government targeting citizens through federal agencies like the IRS, FBI, ATF and others.......that in my book is " pure Hatred"... ,if we are using the word correctly.....merely a HYPOTHETICAL example that in no way can be true

I noticed he was beat badly on one play. I believe he was pulling and did not get there in time

Only Philbin would have Peters pulling.

He's 40 for Pete's sake.

Cowboys best pulling OL is close between Zack and Tyler.
