Jason Peters played 4 snaps vs Eagles

that the issue, so bring in Peters and immediately use i him in zone blocking moving sideways ,. that Moore for ya..i mean you bring him in and let him body up defenders and run behind him. our coaches do this all the time many times in the game short yardage they put Pollard in and run him right in the middle for 1-2 yards..its just ignorant use of talent in the packages of play calls.it makes zero sense.
Like last year - how many times did Moore call critical 3rd and short plays where our franchise tag TE, who EVERYONE knows can't block, was responsible for the critical point of attack block.

I'm hoping, against hope, that Moore keeps a similar game plan and trusts in the running game even with Dak back, but I really doubt it.

This is where I am.. Our best hope is that Dak himself has recognized the value of the running game and will be more willing to shake off Moore when he sends in the 5 wide empty backfield crap from first and goal at the 4 yard line and instead audibles to the handoff to Zeke behind Zack Martin ..

with him being listed full participant today, how'd he do last week in his 4 snaps?

anyone recall what part of the game he played?

Not clear what the deal is here with this guy. Is he out of shape? Are they slow rolling him? Is he the swing backup everywhere? I thought this guy was going to start in place of McGovern.

on Hangin with the Boyz they were ripping him saying he can't move his feet. That was Nate Newton talking. Hope it's not that bad. If it were, I think he'd be off the team.

Stop expecting 40 year old Jason Peters to be 30 year old Jason Peters. It really is that simple.

After all these years, could one of my "bold" predictions actually turn out to be correct?

I predicted that Jason Peters would contribute practically nothing to the Cowboys season.

I would rather be wrong but I felt that these bigger guys when they get older have a more difficult time getting back into shape and need a dedicated offseason program to maintain their conditioning. A truly retired player wouldn't have that.

I just remember him getting smoked on one play. Maybe that's why he only played 4 snaps.

Ok but, How do you explain collingsworth being so eager to kiss Daks butt that he completely invents a story that Dakota bought he mama a new house between seasons when Daks mama had been deceased for 6 years ?

My point is that there is no reason to distinguish between dak and zeke as aside from the bogus 6 game suspension both have been good people and been within the law.

It's just collingsworth being collingsworth. Do you think that Stephen A really hates Dak because he excoriates his performances and laughs at him?

People have to stop follow groupthink and groupspeak and start to be free thinkers

I don't go along mindlessly with the 93% as I'm expected to. I stray off the farm and do my own reseach for answers and truth
Agreed. The persecution complex some of these people have is....I can't understand it. I guess some people go through life always whining, complaining that everyone is out to get them, etc etc

I agree but unfortunately I really have difficulty with the officiating , as far as complaining. However, I’m not one that thinks that the officials are only out to “get the Cowboys”.

my observations is that certain teams like the patriots, packers, Steelers and Giants seem to very seldom have penalties called on them in crucial situations…..while the rest of the teams are officiated differently.

guilty as charged with some of your statement though, lol

I think it's quite likely that Jason Peters is having a tough time getting into A-1 conditioning. At 40 years of age, that shouldn't be surprising, at all. Maybe he'll surprise us a bit, once he gets closer to his better side, assuming, of course, that he still has a good side left in the tank . . . is it remotely possible that his endurance isn't quite what it once was?? Am I getting warm, perchance?? o_O ;)

It’s sure a lot easier for players like Brady at 45 that have stayed lean and in top shape compared to lineman that are carrying alot of new fat over old muscle…..not to mention the cardio aspect as well

…….and probably a fat dose of the hypertension as well

Yup -- absolutely! I do believe you're onto something that makes a world of sense, here! I'm 81 and have a very intimate knowledge of such limitations and sufferings. Mother Nature and Father Time will not go unnoticed, with the passage of time and the onset of physical wear-and-tear. Jason Peters has my most heartfelt empathy. ;)

Peters should be the swing OT and mentor to the young OTs...player/coach, more emphasis on coach.

Thanks, you're very kind. I'm looking forward to today's game -- bet you are too. It's a good offense vs. a good defense . . . it should be an exciting one. ;)

im looking for the resurrection of the offense since last year, and the defense getting back on track

The lions should be the perfect remedy

Yep -- should afford Dak a good opportunity to get back on track (I hope.) I'm not sure if he'd lost his confidence during the game w/the Bucs. I can't get the image out of my head how he looked so worried, sitting there on the bench before the kickoff. He seemed to be in panic mode. Here's hoping 'twas just a fleeting moment of fear that came over him. I'll keep my fingers crossed that he'll get his "mojo" back. Maybe I'm just imagining things.
