I’ll feel better when McCarthy or Coach Jones says Peters will be the starter at RT.

9 games? Well, that's different, he should be All Pro his first year, with tons of experience like that!

;)
Oh I hear you. But he was recruited to a power school and decided to go to Marshall as to return back to FSU. He was pretty lights out in college.

Coming in at right tackle against Houston. This was probably the best signing of the season for the Cowboys. In my opinion , he was brilliant on the final drive. He should definitely get the game ball.

Dude is a stud.

For real.

I figure it was gonna be vet Eric Fisher instead at preseason's end.
Cowboys apparently wanted a long look at their two rookie OT's (Ball and Matt W.) before they decided on a vet swing man and went for Jason Peters.

I thought McGovern initially took over for steel when he went down, but couldn’t handle it so they put peters in
that was BALL... no moving that many Linemen., just move 77 to LT, 73 make the swing and rotate peters and ball at RT.. if we stash 73 until the payoffs that will be great, got top keep one healthy. McGovern fine at LG...

If Lovie Smith takes his three points near the end the Texans on the last drive only need a FG to win . That’s the edge Maher brings to the table . Can hit from anywhere.

I wonder if we’ll be able to convince Peters to come back again next year. Would be good for him body wise to have the mindset all off-season that he’s gonna be back.

Might help him shed 20 lbs and not put on 30 like it looks like he did when he arrived.

Are you referring to signings after the season started or all 2022 free agents?

I seriously doubt he will be in good enough shape to play there the whole game. I don't remember him playing more than a few series here and there. He's just a bandaid.
