Jason Taylor contemplating retirement

Jason Taylor is frustrated with the Dolphins organization, he came out saying that he might retire. With the current status of the Dolphins, Nick Saban will be meeting with the Bama boys this week, I believe he could be our modern day Charles Haley. You saw yesterday we have no pass rush, this guy is exactly what we need to get pressure on oposing quarterbacks.

I've always liked J.T. he could teach Canty how to get up faster too, as they are pretty much twin brothers with thier builds 6'7" aboot the same weight.

Is part of that is frustration with the 3-4ish thing they run?

He's a great player but he'd cost big time. If Saban sticks around though, a deal involving Spears, a first day pick, and someone else might he somewhat realistic.

I live here in Miami and Jason Taylor calls weekly to a radio station 790 the Ticket (the only station T.O has his show) he is frustrated by the insecurity of now Nick Saban talking to Bama, and he getting up there in age. This is the right time to make a run at him.

If we could get him without breaking the bank or selling a soul to the devil, he could be an asset for a year or two.

Saw something today that Bama was offering Saban something like 8-10 years at 40 or more Million.

That's going to be hard to pass up. I really think Saban is a college coach at heart.

Taylor is the kind of player who could be a great pass rusher for another 4-5 years.

What's it going to be then, eh?

I remember when Taylor was coming out of Akron, I watched one game of theirs and thought how much he reminded me of Charles Haley. I wanted us to draft him badly.

To make matters worse, that was the year we took David LaFleur number one and while he was a good player, Coakley has never come close in terms of impact.

I would trade a second and a player but not Spears, Canty or Ware. Maybe a second tier guy like Glymph but I don't think that would make Miami get off of Taylor.

Are you serious?

I would trade Spears for Jason Taylor even if I knew he only had two or three seasons left.

I'd trade just about anyone except Ware to get Taylor.

Taylor and Ware...Would be a nice Duo.

It would be a thing of beauty that even Zimmer couldn't ruin ROFL!

Taylor was drafted almost ten years ago.

Why would we give up a high draft pick for an aging veteran?

(Besides the fact Jerry is our GM)
