Jason Taylor contemplating retirement

Taylor can be had, because the dolphins need bodies. They have something in the range of 21 free agents, and are looking to get younger. I agree we need to make a push for him.

Will Jason Taylor even a free agent this offseason? If he retires won't Miami retain his rights? I don't know all the ins and outs of that but I do know one thing...money talks and we can get anyone we want for the right price.

If we stay in the 3-4 and I hope we do with the personel we have, I would love him opposite Ware but not at the cost of trading first round picks or hurting us in the salary cap.

FAs over 30 have not panned out as well as we have hoped in recent years.

for the kinda jack we would have to throw at Taylor, I would rather get a younger Dwight Freeney.....

Too be honest I don't want the spend the money on either....I would rather spend the money to get some OL help and then on Adalius Thomas.

I've always liked J.T. he could teach Canty how to get up faster too, as they are pretty much twin brothers with thier builds 6'7" aboot the same weight.

No they're not even close in build...

Canty is 6'7" and 300

Taylor is 6'6" and 255

I don't get it... Taylor says he might retire and now everyone wants to "sign" or trade for the guy?

Yes! That's just a cry for help. The guy doesn't want to retire. If I were still young and I didn't want to eat those lima beans my mother kept trying to shove down my throat I might fake a stomach ache or two. ;)

I hope he didnt watch the Lions game then

He better be careful... The Dolphins sue you if you retire when you have years left on your contract. See Ricky Williams
