Jason Taylor ripped down the Cowboy sign

Honestly, I thought it was hilarious. I'd feel honored to piss off such a great player on game day.
;)

And how about the fans screaming "Let's Go Cowboys!" right before MBIII's 40 yard TD? Ha Ha Ha. What did Talylor do about that?

Then you'd be pissed because they wouldn't bother the fans. It's a free country. You can make a sign and hang it up at a game as long as it isn't construed as "obscene" by stadium officials. People buy their tickets. They can wear what they want and cheer for whoever they want. If a player has a problem with it, he should do something on the field of play. Players should NEVER mess with fans and vice versa.

:hammer:

I wonder if the guy was some big ripped brother would Taylor do that. I mean if the guy is much bigger than taylor w/ tats and spikes coming out his neck.

I do not think Ghostrider was in the arena.

But that would have been funny

I agree. As long as the fans stay in their area and don't throw anything at the players then the players need to have a certain level of respect for thier fans.

That sign was beyond the bleachers ..... hanging over the field.

If some Eagle or Commander fans try to hand a banner over the Ring of Honor names ..... that would be ok?

I hope our players would not let them hang that trash over our field.

The thing is, those fans PAID to get into the game. That sign wasn't about Taylor, wasn't about the Dolphins...it was about the team that those fans came to support. It's their right to hang it there...and it was way out of line for Taylor to do that. Very classless move on his part.

Now you are making a rediculous argument. You do know where the ring of honor is located in Texas Stadium right?

I do not blame him at all ..... I wish our players would do the same to any rival fans who tried to show up our team.

He did not tear up the banner ..... just ripped it down.
Our players would get fined if they did that. Whether he does or not remains to be seen.

yup,,, I just watched Wes Welker spike the football after making a first down,,, no flag,,,

I think that was kind of uncharacteristic of Jason Taylor. I think he might have been halfway kidding (wwf style) I met him and Zach Thomas once, at a bar I was working at in Lubbock. He was a lot nicer than Zack and was very friendly and approachable.

That being said he's really not as big as you would think. He's pretty tall but he's kinda skinny.

Now that guy is a real class act. I would love to see him in a Cowboy uniform. He's a fan ,too.

Sorry I'm not huge but I'm not afraid of anyone. I would of slapped his hands away. I would of loved it if he came into the stands after me.

He would be suspended and I would of been on the phone with a lawyer while I was still in the stadium.

Players need to play ON THE FIELD. They need to stay out of fans faces that are not being abusinve or rascist etc...

That sign said something like go cowboys.

He should shut up and get on the field and play. Leave the stands to the paying spectators.

Tex
