All I know is the Dolphins would not make that trade. I'd like to think most people would realize that. He's going to finish with one of the best seasons ever for a DE, so at this point his age is just a number.

Hmmm...first round player for many years to come or a 33 year old player for 2-3 years max and will likely never have a similar season? Hmmm....tough decision here. Real tough.

I have yet to say what I rather would have, I'm just not foolish enough to think the Dolphins would be all over this trade. Taylor is just not some guy who puts up great stats. He carried them to some wins such as the Bears win, he's one of the faces of the franchise and he's been with the Dolphins for 10 years... Believe it or not, teams do evaluate more than age when making trades. The Dolphins would not do the trade.

Maybe for a 2nd rounder I would consider it, but not for a 1st rounder.
