Maybe it’s a one day deal so he can retire a Cowboy...oh wait...
Could it be an incentive based 5 million? Please!
Weren’t some talking about a old TE coming here but got hurt a lot.
Now we have one that never gets hurt and knows the scheme. He gets open. And we have Moore to use him. Very familiar surroundings for all. This may work on a limited basis. He cannot be a 3 down player anymore. Neither can Sean Lee. Use them both in a coaching capacity also.
Wow! Progress stopper?? Seriously? Who is he going to bump aside Jarwin? Swaim? One's a FA the other had one good game and if you have listened to any of our so-called experts on the site they have all indicated we need a TE in the draft. I'd play him day one. Down one. Can you say down the seam? Let's go Wit!!Progress stopper
We need a solid red zone threat which he can be.
I don’t think he gets the same snaps he is accustomed to.
So we won’t spend like 2MM on a player that can still play like a Tre Boston.
But spend 5MM on a guy who is at the end of his career.
Lolza Tuesday.
WOW, REALLY?! Go cheer for Wentz than.More 2 yard sideline patterns for Dak to bail out of trouble on 3rd and long.
This is kind of embarrassing.
False. He’s a below average TE at this point. He’s been out a year. And he costs 5MM apparently.
There is nothing solid about this.
Every dollar spent on an inadequate player is a wasted dollar ...You guys are nuts complaining about 5 million. He’s the immediate starter and our allocation of funds for the TE position is like 6 million.
Witten
Jarwin
Schultz
= 6.5 million
That’s awesome.
Replacing Swaim's snaps with Witten while rotating Schultz and Jarwin is a net win. So long as we don't try to use him like we did in the past (i.e., 100% of the snaps), this can be a real addition
