Jason Witten would be the worst possible hire

This would be the worst possible hire possible....that is why Booger will entertain it. He probably equates seeing all the Cowboy zombies filing into AT&T in their Witten jerseys as a voice of approval....when in fact, they are without doubt the lowest common denominator Cowboy fans going. I noticed a comment at the bottom of this attached article that I had TOTALLY forgotten....Boogers proposed "leader of men" Jason Witten....while a Cowboy, and teammate...refused to take any of the other TE's on the squad under his wing. Let that sink in...that is pathetic behavior. And please don't forget Cabo 2008.

The reasoning of thinking that because one NFC team is having success as a former TE in the NFL, can translate to us having a great coach as a former player is the wrong idea!! I say let Jason come in as another position coach and work himself up

I think K. Moore might be the worst possible hire
Worse than Witten? Witten is jump off the bridge bad. Catastrophic. At least Moore has coordinated some highly successful offenses at the NFL level. We can question how much his coaching actually has to do with the success of those offenses, but AT LEAST he has that on his resume. At this point, it's the lesser of two evils. Truthfully I don't think any candidate I've heard as a legitimate possibility is a good one.

At least Witten would bring some kind of toughness / culture to this organization

Moore is a total wimp / yes man. And we know he sucks schematically. So he offers nothing. Witten is just a total unknown. Probably would be bad but at least there is no evidence of it.

Witten has the potential to be a good hire or a horrible mistake. The uncertainty of it all seems to play into the Dallas Cowboys circus like atmosphere.

Any coach with zero resume would be a terrible hire. I don't know what happened to working your way up the ladder? but Jerry seems to think he has a leg up on every other team. If this is the direction, it would truly be ridiculous.
