I hoping we can get him with one of 4th rounder but he might be gone before then with those measurements. If he can regain his form from his knee injury, he might be a steal.

Where you get your info from I don't see Barwin's reps on the sites that I'm on....

This is a bad year for us not to have a 1st round pick Barwin would be amazing next to Ware.

Robert Ayers 17 reps????

owned it, even had the announcers groaning in ecstacy

6'2" 254, 4.56 40, 25 reps, 37" vert, 10'4" long-jump

he's looking like Ware out there

DET better not screw this up and pass on Curry. I know LB isn't normally the sexy pick, but there defense would be greatly improved with Curry.

I'd love to get Jasper Brinkley or Barwin. I think the LBs are pretty good this year, we should probably end up with a good one. Nice inside guys and a lot of intriguing rush guys.

Brinkley is going to be a steal for someone. In 2006 he was a man-beast. It was a two year injury that he's getting over. If it weren't for the ACL he's Patrick Willis.

they say they already have Ernie Sims, but Curry is on Ware's level as an impact defender, Sims just runs around and makes tackles, Curry could impact a game

Frantz Joseph is a smaller school ILB who is a specimen and put up big numbers in college. I've seen him talked about as a late round (5-7th) sleeper. I've also read that Brinkley is not a very "cerebral" LB. That immediately takes him down on my list... I don't want us to draft anybody who may struggle with learning the playbook.

Edit: The LB I'd like us to draft the most is Jason Phillips from TCU. He may be a late 2nd early 3rd round pick, though, and so is probably not a realistic target if we're placing more importance on DT and SS.

I agree. I would not be surprised if Detroit drafted Curry # 1 overall. I heard he had dinner with Lions managment the other night..hmmm

they'll have dinner with a couple of other guys too

it's way too early to be saying who's going to be whose draft pick

I really like Jasper Brinkley.

Most of these ILBs look like strong-side guys to me.
