I think Moss and Owens are the only two that Walker would consider himself second fiddle. So Owens seems likely, since Walker's been linked here.

On the other hand, NE doesn't have a #1 or #2 receiver signed yet, Walker was close to going to NE when Denver traded for him, and Moss could sign elsewhere.

Thanks for posting this article.

I found the quote very interesting. Add that to Mosley's comments that Ray Sherman knows Walker very well from his Green Bay days and is touting him to Jerry and you have to believe Walker is coming to Dallas if his knee checks out.

If you read between the lines one could justify that he is talking about possibly playing second fiddle to TO.

I never knew TO could even play fiddle.

One talented mofo that TO.

Maybe because I'm a Cowboy fan, just seems to me we're the best team Walker could make his mark.

1. His former position coach is our WR coach,

2. Cowboys a premier team which gets max exposure on prime time game schedule so his play will get NFL-wide attention,

3. We are legit SB contenders,

4. High scoring offense with emphasis on aggressive vertical passing attack

5. Opportunity to show he can play well as a #2WR opposite a great #1 WR in TO who also a good friend,

6. We have a great QB in Romo who loves to throw the ball & is very accurate,

7. OC Garrett is innovative & designs plays to take advantage of quality WRs strengths,

8. Only downside --

We don't have much cap space so Walker must be willing to sign cheap incentive-based short-term contract & pass physical with focus on his knees.

It also possible Walker only willing sign 1 year deal (with no franchising allowed) so he could leave for big money & #1 WR job elsewhere if he has a really good year.

Another thing that I think a lot of people are discounting is the fact that Walker is no spring chicken. A championship, at this point in his career, may be more attractive then simply a contract.

Dallas will be the sexy pick for the NFC representative in next year's Super Bowl. He may be willing to sign an incentive laden deal just for a shot at a ring.

I'm not totally on board with even bringing this guy in, but I wouldn't quite count Dallas out just because Tampa Bay has more money to spend.
