Javonte Williams fully healthy

completely agree. I just dont want to listen to people that are on the keyboard trying to say what he can or cant do. Im sure Dallas coaches and drs gave him a nice look over.

Curious, do you think they lign up a guy that has an acl tear and he does a few 40s for them? Because the stopwatch doesnt lie.
I'm bamfoozled as to how this RB room will turn out. We have: Two older RB's w/ questions as to whether they can still play, a very fast rook who can't hold onto the ball, a very slow rook w/ poor lateral agility, a midget, and a FB that we refuse to use. Very strange RB room here, and I'm not sure we have a standout on the roster at RB. IMO, our best hope is that Williams has regained his burst.

Running game will no doubt make or break the Cowboys. If the running game starts off like it did last year that could mean Dak throws more which opens up a higher percentage chance of him getting hurt again. Unlike last preseason ALL the running backs should be playing during the preseason where they all get a chance to play equally.

Looks like Bo Nix used him as check down Charlie as he had 52 receptions last season.
Do you think Dallas is looking for one of these backs to start or will it be by commity and do you think Williams has anything left in the tank.

Williams won't be terrible here, about like Dowdle. It'll be Williams, Sanders, Blue...
I am looking forward to seeing how the running back room shakes out ,Mafah looks good to me and so does Blue. I really want a big back and a speed back behind this O line,I think it would work really well with what Shottenheimer and Adam's want to do with the offense. It would be a nice compliment to CeeDee Pickens and Turpin.

Williams is fully healthy 3 years removed now form his injuries.
And he is ready to go prove himself and produce for the offense.

Also on this link is a slideshow of 55 photographs from the OTA's.
I don't share your optimism. Enough time passed in 2024 for him to be fully healthy. Its likely the 2024 version of him is what he is now. Unfortunate for him because he could have been a Pro Bowl level player. But that was and injury and likely permanently robbed him of goos amount of ability

The thing about Phil Mafah is his 2024 tape doesn't look at good as his 2023 tape, I think because of injury.

He was a little quicker to the hole in 2023. He isn't blazing fast, but once he gets to the 2nd level into his 2nd gear, he's a really good runner.

He'll have some TFLs on him though.

Mafah makes the team, imo

He scored 4 TDs against Kentucky in 2023.
