Jay Ajayi trade to eagles **merged**

Eagles going all in...But if my intel is correct...and I think my source is pretty good...since he took the X-rays...Ajayi knees are pretty close to being done. Maybe a year or 2 more. Miami was already giving him days off to calm the irritation. Expect Philly to run him into the ground.

Maybe, but I don't think they will ever be a run first team. This just helps their run/pass balance. If his knees are on borrowed time, they only spent one of their 3 4th rounders on him. That's not over-paying.

I dont think they are better. 7-1 and who have they played? They beat the Skins twice, the Giants, Cardinals, 49ers, Panthers, Chargers, and Lost to the Chiefs. We beat The Skins, Giants, Cardinals, and 49ers! I dont see them all that great at all!

Better question, who did we beat?

Take that Eagles!

Right guys?

Guys?
Always looking for a deal. There is a good reason the Giants didnt want him anymore. The guy has basically done nothing. That and coming off a 4 game suspension. Im all for upgrading our talent,... but HE is NOT an upgrade in any way.

Awesome!

SB here we come!

Honestly, at this point, they are wise to not make any trades. They aren't winning squat this year with Elliott out 6 games. Philly is the clear favorite and even with Elliott, the Cowboys simply aren't good enough. Pack it up, look to the offseason and hope to hell that Jerry has a come to Jesus moment and realizes his chickenpoop, conservative ways and his coaching staff just aren't good enough.

I would much rather that than another WR Roy Williams last minute trade disaster.

Take your lumps, fire your inept coaching staff, and get people in here who can coach up the talent you do have.

Man, Morris the other day looked 40 years old. I don't care how good the OLine is....he sucks. DMac will be better but he's a fumbler too.

I think Morris is ok if you make him the guy. Notice I said ok...

Out RB depth is easily our most overrated position. Easily.

Give me a young guy with fresh legs and something to prove over a millionaire backup, has been, or never was. I would prefer to see Smith as the starter.

Where would they even play him? They were overloaded at the position before and had Mayowa and Moore inactive anyway. And I guess this means there's no chance of a Tapper appearance again this year?

Dolphins gon Dolphin.

Blame the RB and not the **** O-line. Really close to giving up watching them
Sounds like you know the Fins a bit.
Who will start for them now? Drake or Williams?
I ask because I'm in a 20 team fantasy league... so always looking under rocks for help.

I like the idea of giving him a legit shot at the job.

LOL...

I remember the days during the draft ....everyone said the guy was going to be a bust...(Boise St./bad knees)

And now...We have Alfred Morris...on his last legs as our savior.

I hope Damien Wilson was worth it.

The amazing part is that the great running back from the blue turf college has the same amount of rushing touchdowns as our back up on his last legs savior this year.

That wasnt the argument. The argument was Philly was elite. I dont think Dallas is Elite but they are as good as Philly if not better. Time will tell.

Sure it was. The minute you compared the two.

Dallas is far from "better". It took overtime to beat the Eagles the one time they did last year. And this year's Eagles team is night and day better than that one. It's not even close.

Meanwhile, this Cowboys team is worse.

Time has told. Now it's just a matter of watching the carnage.

People can call it luck but it's also party do to the fact their front office is smart and making very smart moves. So it might be luck that Rodgers broke his collarbone but the Eagles built a legit roster and have constantly tried to make it better.

We sit around with our thumb up our butt. Mediocre staff, mediocre player personnel moves. And what you get is what you get.

Yeah don't get me wrong. The Eagles FO is seizing opportunity well.

But opportunity is only there because of a desolate NFC landscape.

Hopefully a few teams get it together and don't let them waltz to the super bowl.

Even if Rodgers were healthy, the Eagles still have one of the best rosters in the NFC right now. So I don't really think it's luck. They have a roster that could compete even with Rodgers and the Packers.

It's sad and pathetic.

The worst part is there are many fans who do the same thing. Complete and utter homers who actually tried to argue that this past offseason was a very smart by the Cowboys.

And yet the Eagles went from a 7-9 (really 6-10 team considering that last Cowboys game was a joke) to arguably the best team in the NFC in one offseason.

But the homers will tell you............. you have to build slow and steady.

LOL.

Bro, no offence but you are consistently thinking the Eagles are better than they are. Remember these gems from 2015 (when they went 7-9)? Every year, man.

I understand it but Philly does it with ease every week and they aren't even using half their playbook.

You guys can continue to bury your heads in the sand, but Philly is going to be a complete and utter pain in the *** this year. I think they are a legit threat to win the division.

He's always been Chip'd up. He'll be unbearable on radio this week during his segment.

That being said, and yes it's preseason, anyone who hasn't been impressed with the Eagles this preseason is just being a Cowboys homer.

We better be ready for a drag out brawl in this division. Philly isn't winning 6 or 7 games like some people around here want to think.

It does appear that way...no doubt. But you never know man. We have 9 games left and Wentz could get hurt toward the end of the year. Just have to keep fighting.

I'm not giving up on the Cowboys.

It's just going to be pretty tough to get to the playoffs given our schedule.

But if we do make it there and are healthy, then luckily the NFC is weak for us too.

You should be. These *******s are going to have home field advantage in one of the weakest nfc playoff fields in recent memory. I am going to be sick to my stomach

The best part is they are coming off a 7-9 season last year and made leaps and bounds improving their team this year. We were 13-3 and our front office decides to be cheap. It shouldn’t have been that hard for us to improve what was almost a SB caliber team. Really just needed a playmaker or two in our secondary.

Would you rather have our 2016 club this year or last year?
