Jay Ajayi trade to eagles **merged**

Eagles are an accident to be happening like Stephen A says about the Cowboys. One hit away on Wentz, injuries etc. Ticket to the Super bowl is not cut and dry as their is a long way to go.

good. he's on my FFL team and has been crap so far this year.

i now have a solid RB option again.

Buddy of mine who is a huge Dolphins fan said they are also shopping Landry...i would want the Cowboys to be interested in that...

wow, all they needed was a good back. now they have one. They will be in the Super Bowl and maybe even win it.

This is what you're supposed to do when ODB and Aaron Rodgers are out for the season. You're supposed to go for the jugular. Not penny pinch at Goodwill. This franchise is an embarrassment.

just curious if Will McClay is placed on an island after the draft so that JJ and his boys can play GM with their shiny toy

Note: I would not want Ajayi, but Philly is trying to get better...us? yeah

Meh, he was a beast for about 2 games. Was pedestrian the rest. He's being rated for those two games more than the majority of them.

This is very true. This is also why I crossed him off the list in my fantasy football league.

I am 5-3 at the moment so I obviously know what I am talking about.

where do these teams get the money. will the cowboys ever have any money to spend again.

Excellent move on their part, well played.

Going for the jugular to run away with this thing.

Sure it was. The minute you compared the two.

Dallas is far from "better". It took overtime to beat the Eagles the one time they did last year. And this year's Eagles team is night and day better than that one. It's not even close.

Meanwhile, this Cowboys team is worse.

Time has told. Now it's just a matter of watching the carnage.

Why watch? Unless you like HBP? Or maybe you can watch without interest since you have already conceded the season to the eagles.

Tough question.

What I wanted was a 2017 team that was better and improved over the 2016 one. They didn't do that. And there is the source of my frustration.

Well obviously that's what we wall wanted, but that's not the question I'm asking.

The point I'm trying to make is that a lot of what ultimately determines success is largely out of the hands of a team and are, in fact, circumstantial.

Getting a bunch of rentals (Alshon, Blount, Jernigan, Warmack) and not addressing an aging Jason Peters (who is probably now done for his career) isn't the smartest approach for a team with a young QB and emerging window.

They're likely going to be set back tremendously next year.

But right now it looks great because as it turns out, this is the year you want to be pretty good in the NFC.

All this philly love is an absolute embarrassment. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Honestly. This move guarantees nothing for them. You lace up. Play football and see how it all unfolds. This is an all time low here at CZ and that's saying a lot.

Preach it!

Yes, their record looks nice, but they are not the only team to be concerned about in the NFC. If these so called fans here could somehow get their head out of their ***, they would notice the Saints have won 5 in a row, the Vikings are 6-2, Hawks are 5-2 and the Rams 5-2 hold the tie-breaker on us.The Iggles haven't played any of those teams or us for that matter...YET. Oh but who cares...by all means let's just crown the friggin iggles now cuz they are automatically SB bound with the acquisition of Jay Ajayi.

smh

I find it funny how many of you think this is a great trade for the Eagles. Blount, Smallwood, Clement, Ajayi. That's no better than Morris, Mcfadden, Smith and we have a much better offensive line with Peters out. Their LT sucks.

Would anyone here be opposed to using a 4th round pick on Ajay, now that Zeke is gone for 6 weeks? We could have had him!

But stupid Eagles, they think they are so smart. They don't realize that it's a process that takes 8-10 years for their coach to get on the job training, before becoming a legitimate NFL head coach. We're way ahead of that curve, in the next 5 years Garrett will be out of OJT and be a real NFL coach. We'll show them!

See, maybe this is the problem. People think it's "Philly love" when in fact it's more disappointment in our own franchise for being stuck in the mud. Again.

The conversation wouldn't be much different if it were the Skins or Giants. Now, personally, I am way more hypersensitive to the Eagles because I live up here but if you substitute the Skins for the Eagles and things happened just the same, I'd be saying the same things.

Naturally, when our franchise boobs it up again, you are going to look around at what's happening around you. And in this case, a 7-9 team from last year went out with a real offseason plan and made themselves into what is arguably a top one or two team in the NFC this year. Our #1 seeded team that went 13-3 took a big step back largely because of decisions made by the front office. It isn't even about this particular move. It's about the entire approach a team in our division took compared to our cheap, bargain barrel ways again.

That's undeniable and if people want to talk about all time lows, it should be the fans that are burying their heads in the sand on this or coming back with the age old comeback, "We have 5 SBs, the Eagles have zero..........." as if that means anything in the current season.
