Jay Ajayi trade to eagles **merged**

Everything just falling into the Eagles lap makes me sick.

The NFC sucked already, now Rodgers is out. Zeke is out.

The universe is just paving the road for Philly.

Here you go...

Awesome!

SB here we come!

Honestly, at this point, they are wise to not make any trades. They aren't winning squat this year with Elliott out 6 games. Philly is the clear favorite and even with Elliott, the Cowboys simply aren't good enough. Pack it up, look to the offseason and hope to hell that Jerry has a come to Jesus moment and realizes his chickenpoop, conservative ways and his coaching staff just aren't good enough.

How in God's name do they Eagles manage to manipulate the salary cap and get ANYBODY THEY WANT, at any time??

And then here we are, searching the free agent scrap heaps. I'm so sick of the Cowboys being overly cheap and not even TRYING to REALLY get better - they just want to throw a couple bucks at a JAG and hope he performs well

I think this is probably what a LA Clipper fan used to feel when Sterling was owner and would never pay anybody

I don't think we're 'cheap'...I think we're dumb. We overpay certain guys in a BIG way and thus don't have the cap room for moves like this. Just my two cents, but pretty sure I'm right.

As we lose Elliot they gain Ajayi. That dude can be rugged. This is not good. Not like its the end of the world or anything,... but I dont see a way to put a positive spin on it either. This helps them........ and hurts us.

There's is no spinning it. And anyone attempting to do so only succeeds in embarrassing themselves.

They used a 4th round pick for a starting running back. We used a 6th rounder on Bene Benwikere.

Game. Set. Match.

Everything seemingly setting up for the Eagles when make it a bigger choke and a bigger disappointment for their fans of they don't win the Superbowl anytime soon. Just saying.

They are not creative at all.

I mean that's obvious. Some guys just have that ability - Belicheck and it looks like the Eagles GM too.

I mean think about it and I dare any front office homer try to say the Cowboys do this better when you consider:

- They got Jernigan by swapping third round picks with the Ravens
- They got Miami to take two bad contracts off their hands and swap #1s............ which then led to.............
- Them trading with Cleveland for Wentz
- They then traded Bradford for a #1 pick
- They add Ajayi for a 4th rounder
- In the offseason, they got guys like Jeffrey on very team friendly deals

I mean it's not even a comparison at this point. Unfortunately, the Eagles have the better roster top to bottom and that's even if Elliott wasn't suspended.

It's a joke.

And the front office tries to sell us on Nolan Carroll, Bene, and a Packer throwaway. Jerry and Stephen enjoy their filling their fat pockets while doing the bare minimum to try and put a quality product on the field.

It is.

They pretty much have nabbed every guy they wanted. Jeffrey, Smith, Jernigan, Darby, Ajayi, Robinson, Blount.

The NFC is down this year. Falcons are meh, we’re average, No Rodgers in Green Bay, Seattle has zero offense.

They will be the representative of the nfc in the super bowl. Sad but likely true

And yet we blew up our defense after a 13-3 season

I'm guessing his knees are shot, he already had knee issues coming out of college and you can't have a year like he had last year and it not take a toll on them.
And yet we blew up our defense after a 13-3 season
The defense wasn't the reason we went 13-3:laugh:

I thought Chip set them back a good 4-5 years but stupid me, forgot they hired an actual GM

To be fair, Eagles have a lot of aging veterans and key players on one year deals so it is smart to go all in now.
