Jaylon Smith is beast'N

That video confirms what i already thought, that Schultz should be on the practice squad at best. He's not physically ready to contribute at his position.

If they think Smith is all the way back, they should look to extend him. Now's the time to take advantage of any "good will" they may have earned with him by drafting him while he was hurt. He's a free agent in 2020 and they may have trouble signing him.

Sadly some people around here are not going to be happy about the progress he has made

Lol, they were too busy jumping to conclusions and giving thier professional medical opinions. Its really crazy to think of the boatload of blue chippers about to pop for us.

I don't get your statement. Some of us doubted he could fully recover from such a brutal injury. That is completely different than pulling against the guy after he is showing tremendous progress.

I agree. The cowboys have shown to get the crap end of the stick at times in these situations.

I get some situations but jerry could be a cheap basterd at times!

The good thing is... a lot of teams don't anymore... with the all air NFL.

Well, i'm just saying that b/c Garrets so predictable on offense. The NFL may be going "all air" but we clearly are not. You need good blocking TE's to offset the loaded boxes Zeke is going to see every week.

I was skeptical of the Jaylon pic at first given Myles Jack was on the board, but he's definitely turning the corner and looking like he'll be a real talent in this league.

yes there were SEVERAL here that staked their pathetic reputations that Jaylon would NEVER play in the NFL. They are very quiet now hoping no one will remember. I have seen it before here; yes THERE ARE SOME HERE that would rather see him fail then be proven wrong.

Good for Jaylon. It should also be noted we don't have a TE skilled in the blocking arts.

Fortunately for us, neither do a lot of teams. There's a lot of pass-catching tight ends out there who are get-by blockers at best.

Love seeing things working out for Jaylon, he maintained a belief in himself and worked hard to overcome a devastating injury all the while having the critics tell him he could not return as a top player. Now Jaylon is ready to show himself as a top player in this league.

Nope Jarwin can't block and the kid from Stanford is not very good at it either. Swaim is the best of them.
Haha Shultz is known for his blocking. Jarwin can block as well and Swaim isn't the best of them he just has experience since he has been in the league longer than both. All 3 of them are known for their blocking skills not receiving

That is a great point. Right now, the front office would definitely be in the driver's seat. If he has the year I think he's gonna have, we'll have to back up the brinks' truck come 2020

Jaylon will outplay Jack by a mile this year. Hell, I think he probably outplayed him last season.

I'm not going to rain on the guys progress because he's not going up against pro bowlers. He's looking so much better and that's good for him and the Cowboys. On the other side of the coin this isn't an easy league to play in, for development sake sometimes you need to have your butt kicked.

Not true as true as you prob think, I’m sure some are that vindictive but I’m not, I hope he dominates and I turn out to be horribly wrong
