Good for Jaylon. It should also be noted we don't have a TE skilled in the blocking arts.
The good thing is... a lot of teams don't anymore... with the all air NFL.

Sadly some people around here are not going to be happy about the progress he has made
I don't get your statement. Some of us doubted he could fully recover from such a brutal injury. That is completely different than pulling against the guy after he is showing tremendous progress.Sadly some people around here are not going to be happy about the progress he has made
If they think Smith is all the way back, they should look to extend him. Now's the time to take advantage of any "good will" they may have earned with him by drafting him while he was hurt. He's a free agent in 2020 and they may have trouble signing him.
This team only has blocking TEs not including Rico

They are called idiots.Sadly some people around here are not going to be happy about the progress he has made
yes there were SEVERAL here that staked their pathetic reputations that Jaylon would NEVER play in the NFL. They are very quiet now hoping no one will remember. I have seen it before here; yes THERE ARE SOME HERE that would rather see him fail then be proven wrong.I don't get your statement. Haha Shultz is known for his blocking. Jarwin can block as well and Swaim isn't the best of them he just has experience since he has been in the league longer than both. All 3 of them are known for their blocking skills not receivingNope Jarwin can't block and the kid from Stanford is not very good at it either. Swaim is the best of them.
That is a great point. Right now, the front office would definitely be in the driver's seat. If he has the year I think he's gonna have, we'll have to back up the brinks' truck come 2020If they think Smith is all the way back, they should look to extend him. Jaylon will outplay Jack by a mile this year. Hell, I think he probably outplayed him last season.I was skeptical of the Jaylon pic at first given Myles Jack was on the board, but he's definitely turning the corner and looking like he'll be a real talent in this league.

Swaim is a better blocking TE than Witten(of recent vintage).Good for Jaylon. It should also be noted we don't have a TE skilled in the blocking arts.
