I also wish him the best, but this not knowing what is really going on and all the vague articles are really depressing. I am tired of hearing about his positive attitude, I want to know if he can play?????

I didn't see a game changer in college...very good LB and great athlete clearly but didn't see the top 10 draft projection.
I expect and hope to gladly be wrong in this case.

Urban Meyer called him the best player he had watched on tape in years.

My point is that I did not see many "splash" plays from Smith, forced fumbles, INTs, tackles for loss, or sacks. So I think you can compare them by how they disrupt a game.

Fromt he podcast, one GM said he's the best LB he'd scouted in the last 20 years. Another said he'd have been a top 5 pick in any of the last 10 drafts. And Stephen said he might be a bigger impact player than either Zeke or Dak. Pretty strong stuff.

FWIW, I'd agree that he looked all around very good as a likely NFL player, but not generationally great to me in college prior to injury.

Honestly I never saw all the hype Jaylon got coming out. Now that he's a Cowboy I hope it was all spot on. Aside from being a Cowboy, Jaylon seems to be the kind of person you would pull for making it back on any team. Seems to just be a fantastic person.
And I'm not saying it (RKG) on purpose

really? I have heard several people say he was best they had seen in maybe 20 years. What didn't you see specifically?

He is so positive you really cant get any new info from his interviews. We are literally going to have to wait to see him on the field before we have any idea if reality meets his up beat attitude.

Nothing ground breaking. But I agree...he is very positive. I think they hit the nail on the head when they speculated that Jaylon has been told to not discuss the specifics of his condition. He's been coached on what to say.
