Jaylon Smith vs LVE

I really wish we could find a way to get Lee on the field with them. For some reason we don’t want LVE and Lee together. When Lee has been healthy he’s rotated in and out.

Jaylon is the best fit at ILB of the 3. Lee and LVE excel at the same position.

Both will get better. Jaylon should continue to see his foot improve. LVE will have a full season in annNFL weight room to get bigger and stronger.

Scary thought.

These guys are one of the best tandem linebackers in the NFL and they haven't peaked yet. Next 3 years with these studs will be exciting to watch.

It seems to me they are both potentially elite in different ways. Lve has a elite brain, size and tackler.

Smith has elite speed and pass rush ability.

So I don’t really know if you could call one better.
Well said, my man .

Really can't compare the two but that's a good thing.

Jaylons speed helps the front seven be really special. He is sideline to sideline and that's what makes him special. He can run with receivers too. That is crazy. The play that LVE made on that screen play was phenomenal but did anyone notice that jaylon Smith rushed the passer and still had the speed to get back and it looked like if LVE missed on that play that Jaylon had the angle and speed to make the stop before the RB could get a first down. That is crazy. Both LBs are studs.

LVE has simply gotten better and become more and more impactful with each season since he got to BSU, then to Dallas. Watch that continue.

The best part apart this debate.. It’s Jaylons second season and LVEs first.. they’re both going to feed off each other and get better, so we’re just scratching the surface of what this duo will become. They’ll push themselves to greatness.

The one thing that seems to separate these two freaks to me..

is one player has the swag and knows he’s good and will continue to get better..

The other is wide eyed and instinctual, yet hasn’t wrapped his head around how good he will become.

It's Jaylon's third season. Even though he didn't play his first year, it matters because his rookie contract ends after next year. So we've only got him cheap for one more season, and then there will be decisions to make.

I’m just glad they’re both on our team and will be for the for seeable future.
