My pathetic goal is to just get past the divisional round. I just want a chance to play for a superbowl. If we can overcome that hurdle I'd be more optimistic.

I'm that same way. If we are going to build a winning culture, then it can't just be another one and done. We need a playoff win, and a road playoff win at that. Our last road playoff win was in Super Bowl 30 as technically that was a neutral site. According to Pro Football Reference, we have lost every road playoff game since then. We need to change that, and this year, we are going to have to if we want a playoff win as we are not winning the division this year.

There was a thread that was posted shortly after yesterday’s game that erroneously quoted Tolbert saying the ref inexplicably told him to “move up,” as in closer to the LOS.

That’s bunk.

Here’s the actual quote:

Tolbert said he had checked with the down judge Sarah Thomas.

"I lined up, looked to the side and she told me to back up," Tolbert said. "I did."

So, what Tolbert is really is saying here is he thought he backed up enough. He didn’t.. The ref is not obligated to line you up after giving you the courtesy heads up.

Problem #2: Zaire Alexander is not even respecting him one bit on a 2nd & 2. They know the plays that Air Coryell Jr calls.

I don't like giving up on a draft pick so quickly, but the guy looks worse than nearly any upper-half draft pick I can remember here. I mean, does anyone else remember a recent Cowboys pick from the first 3 rounds that looked so completely listless on a football field? Maybe Chaz Green? Outside of that I don't know who has had a worse start to their Cowboys career.

I would not be shocked if he is a surprise camp casualty next year. It would appear that the front office really missed horribly on him, which stings a little more since he was a 3rd rounder and the draft is our only method of player acquisition.

I can see being offsides by an inch or two and maybe even a foot but this idiot was over the line by almost two yards before he corrected and was still offsides .
