not a doctor but FWIW I have nerve damage in my arm my doctor told me that the nerves deep in my arm should come back but the nerves closer to the surface will not. I will be 80% but will have full strength in my arm and full motion i will have some dead zones on the arm where feeling will be muted or non existent like it is permanently numb. I wont feel scratches but will feel pressure.

I have surface nervres in my knee that have been numb for 30 years.

This all seems to contradict what Jaylon and others were saying yesterday ? Oh well ... I will believe none of this or what Jaylon said yesterday .. I will see it when he is actually on the field

start on PUP, go to IR designate to return possibly

He's going to play.

Tell me one time in history where a player practices in OTAs but wasn't ready for the season?

If the team didn't feel he so ready for football activities, he would be practicing. He may not be 100% yet but he has no risk on reinjury...he's playing.

It all starts soon, answers will soon be here...or let's hope so.
It will be very disappointing if he is not practicing every other day in some capacity. And that does not mean sideline work as practice.

Same here. I had knee surgery from a high school basketball injury. It was before scoping so they opened me up with a 7 inch incision. They had to cut across some surface nerves and the Doc told me it would be numb the rest of my life. To this day I never really notice it at all.....

The nerve has already regenerated.

These late hurdles are more to do with the neuromuscular junction fully returning from atrophy. We're well past the nerve reconstructing itself.

I said months ago when word broke that he was able to lift his foot and toes that it's only a matter of time until it comes back fully. The nervous system is built to repair itself in that situation.

Letting him play with this brace before the nerve is fully regenerated has disaster written all over it.

It was only a matter of time before a Zone doctor showed up.
