The Cowboys play the Cards in just two weeks. Is there any chance we see Jaylon play in that game?

I would not bet on it. I would think they tease he may get some plays in the 2nd game, but "circumstances" made them wait....then we see maybe 6 plays the 3rd game.

Jaylon will play with his current AFO. The reference is for full nerve regeneration, which is an ongoing process. Activity actually facilitates neuromuscular re-education and motor unit activation.

There is no reason to start on PUP whatsoever. He can play.

not a doctor but FWIW I have nerve damage in my arm my doctor told me that the nerves deep in my arm should come back but the nerves closer to the surface will not. I will be 80% but will have full strength in my arm and full motion i will have some dead zones on the arm where feeling will be muted or non existent like it is permanently numb. I wont feel scratches but will feel pressure.
I cut nerves and tendons in two fingers back in 08. Two tendons never got right again and I have no feeling in the tip of one finger.

Thanks Trouty, but it's all good homie. It doesn't stop me from doing anything, I forget about it to be honest.

Besides it happened defending a drunk girl who some jerk was trying to take advantage of... I'd gladly have given my fingers just the same.
Hell yeah, Bermy. Karma will always be on your side for that one, brother. Any true man would do the same.

Great to hear it isn't holding ya back, bro.

Well, there seems to be a common theme where Jaylon's concerned this offseason and it's that he's making steady progress with his healing and is anxious to get to TC to prove himself worthy. There won't be long to wait before he's finally able to offer evidence of his readiness. Here's wishing him great success and continued good health in the process.
Hope for the best, we really need him this year.

So...by the time he's 100%. He'll be playing for his next contract.

I've been thinking the same thing, you would hope he would give us a decent contract since we invested so much in him on such a large risk.

He will probably only get better(health and experience) so you could see his contract year being his best year.

Look at Broaddus piggybacking off the good news given that he's been notoriously negative about Smith. He's going to subtly try to change the narrative he spewed just in case Smith actually does end up playing and playing well.

Yeah, and it is funny that he didn't know that Smith wasn't wearing a typical AFO...but Broaddus doesn't have nearly the inside information that he wants us to think he has.

Broaddus can say whatever he wants. His record speaks for itself and you can't go back and change history. His feelings about this player and that draft pick are well documented. And they will come back to haunt him.

Jaylon seems to feel he will be ready to hit the field come training camp and plans on playing week 1 vs NY. I think that is exactly what will happen
