The idea that a ball that travels ~60 yards in the air is routine is preposterous. Completion percentage on balls that travel that far in the air is less than 50%. I don't know that it's tracked anywhere now, but here's Russ in 2019 at just over 30%.

Again, with that much room in the pocket (which yes, your data doesn't account for), it's all the more reason to make sure the receiver can at least get a hand on the ball.
