They have him listed as LB on the roster but they are often lazy and wrong on roster info and might have just put LB because he was a LB in Green Bay's 3-4 defense.

His highlights all seem to indicate his primary skill is pass rushing and ST.

I'm hoping the defensive staff works with him and uses him wisely wherever he seems the most productive. There's no doubt but what a need exists in both areas for us -- perhaps even some of both if he able to handle it.

Eberflus must have a lot of flair having coached LBs under Rob Ryan. Maybe we're gonna see more of his creativity this year. The Ryans love to do those zone blitzes where DEs drop into a zone coverage, and LBs blitzing etc.

Hopefully, the defensive staff will test him at both positions and utilize him wherever he displays the most productive ability. Perhaps some of both if he's able to respond well enough. He's a bit light for a fulltime DE but possibly ideal at SAM, as you've already suggested. Perhaps suitable to be used as a rotational pass rusher at DE? We'll soon see.

Packers fans said he's a ST ace. Hope that's the only place we see him.

So different question what is your take on Jaylon. Is he ready is it too soon...interested to read your thoughts with his limited snaps.

I would think in passing situation that he will line up at DE

I really don't know. The Hitchen injury forces him into more action earlier than the team had planned.

I need to watch his preseason snaps back to back with some of his college game footage because I do think there is something odd about the way he runs now. I don't see a limp but it seems very deliberate as if he were doing rehab exercises.

Im thinking he may get some of Wilsons snaps on run downs when he is suspended and we run 3 lber sets. Pass downs would be interesting if he displays any coverage ability because you could pair him with lee and zone blitz him or line him up at de and blitz, or motion him from one spot to the other pre snap .

They seem really thin at MLB. I don't know who is on the depth chart after Jaylon and Hitchens. Some people said move Lee over but then somebody has to play WLB. I guess Wilson would be the next option. Nzeocha played a lot of the MLB snaps in the preseason.

They have 8 DL plus Elliott and I think Tapper might still be injured. The always have 8 active on game day.

Last season Hitchens played base and Durant played a lot of the Nickel snaps. I seems that Jaylon will take the base snaps that Hitchens played.

I originally thought it would be the opposite with Hitchens in base and Jaylon in Nickel.

Somebody said he was 240 but he was 255 in predraft measurements. I think that's about Mayowa's size.
