Jeanty - pro day drop

The question is if the guy runs 4.37 or low 4.4s he is worth a top 10 pick. Otherwise he is in the Melvin Gordon like college grading.
Show me anyone that does a draft that does not have him as a top 5 talent?

You really look bad you know?

There you go.

But let’s wait till draft day- I think his stock is sinking after his no pro day performance.

Maybe Indy at 14 or later
Wow so you found one out of dozens. Congratulations.
So if 24 out of 25 doctors tell you that you are sick and one says you are not, you know you are fine, right?

His rank is 4 with the avg from everywhere being number 6 rated player.

lol. You asked for one. Yeah I would be concerned about the one doctor if it was his specialization. Weak analogy as it is as with the rest of points.

Yr guessing. He is more like low 4.6 which means he will take pounding with his running style in an 18 game season. Watch the Penn state game against better competition. Imagine that for 18 weeks.
now you're guessing... no way is he a 4.6 back.

he ran away from people on Oregon.

Realistically, he is 4.42-4.53, with most estimates at 4.48.

Walter Payton ran 4.4 and was the #1 pick in the entire draft. Thanks for proving my point.
SEC has more athletic players and drafted players that is closer to NFL competition. No one would question that because it’s a factoid.
He was far from being the #1 pick, try #4. Thx…

lol. 4.8 can run away from people what kind of premise is that for 4.4
uh...do we really have to do this? Yes, technically a one legged man can out-hop a cripple, too.

Now back to reality, where this 'argument' can hopefully occur in good faith.... Obviously, I am talking about him outrunning defenders in the secondary who we know have some measure of speed. You can even look up these players 40 yard dash times.

It is kind of hard to take you seriously with comments like the one above. But maybe you're a troll and I fell for it. Honestly, that's the preferred scenario.

He broke 21 tackles in the Penn State game.

His doubters seem to forget that the 11 players on Penn State's defense were all significantly better than the 10 players on Boise's offence that Jeanty was playing with. That wont be the case in the NFL.

His tape proves he is fast. No point in even running IMO.
Disagree. Speed matters. Watching him outrun the best mid major defenses isn't definitive. if you have the speed, you want that on the record. Now everyone has to wonder if he's refusing to run b/c he doesn't have top end speed and he's trying to protect his draft position or he's injured. If you are a WR or a RB or a CB. you need that 40 time.

Yeah, imagine if Jeanty had to run against real defenses in the SEC or Big 10 all year. He got his draft position by piling up huge numbers. He's an SEC/ Big 10 caliber RB feasting on mid major defenses. I'll pass.

Guys listen to Atlanta. Every year he sorts the 40 times and tells us who’s good.

Imagine if he played with a SEC/ Big 10 caliber o-line, QB and receivers.

Can play this game all day.
