People forget that you can scheme to slow down a passrush, because Dallas never does it. You could probably count on one hand the number of times Driskel dropped straight back and had 3 seconds to throw without scrambling.

What about the other DT? Every play I saw there was no push but the edge guys were doing there thing. Didn't see the game just saw all of there scoring plays.

You're not going to get push from Christian Covington or any other 1-tech in this scheme b/c he's just in the A-gap occupying two blockers.

When the Cowboys rush 4, the alignment (other than stunts) is designed exclusively so that 3 DL are 1-1. That means sacrificing the 1-tech. It's true every game, not just against Detroit.

I have never seen Covington occupy two blockers. On Bo's big run Covington got blown out of the play by one lineman.
