I dont trust or care for liars at all.

2nd, generally what goes around, comes around, when you lie and boast about it, generally comes back and bites you, even double sometimes

I'd take Jeff Fisher coaching the cowboys over wade doofus Phillips anyday.

Remember the Pacman trade, Fisher and the titans said 2 teams were involved in the trade. After the trade Fisher gets on national tv and says we pulled on on the cowboys. No other team was interested in trading for pacman.

I can understand the ploy by saying 2 teams were interested, when in reality only one team was interested. But when you get on national tv and say, oh, by the way, we pulled one over on the cowboys and jerry jones. No other team was interested in trading for pacman but jerry jones. Your out and out lying and boasting about lying.

Joe, when I first came online, more than ten years ago, I didn't even know how to copy and paste... so believe it or not, I would print out the post to which I was responding, and type it up manually, then respond... this was over on the Cowboys newsgroup...

You have NOOOOOO idea how happy I was when I found about the copy and paste feature... happily, it was just a few weeks after I came online that I figured it out...

My gripe is that Costas brought it up and it was the majority of the conversation. It's a desperate grasp at trying to get a negative reaction about the Cowboys.

More like "promote a big game much?" NBC has the home opener? Right? Dallas and NY and other NFC East fans are going to watch... maybe not so much AFC team's fans... unless interest in the board draws them... that's about ratings. You focus on the folks who maybe wouldn't watch and you try to grab them. AFC fans who would have to stay up pretty late to see the game are now more likely to watch... well played.

The fact that the scoreboard was even a topic at this point tells me that:

a) the reporters are really scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to come up with something relevant to talk about; and

b) Jeff Fisher is not focused on what he should be focused on.

I like Fisher as a coach, but this has been blown WAY out of proportion by everyone concerned.

As for finding something else to talk about, why not try....oh I don't know....something more substantial....like impending labor unrest?!?

I actually read CZ from my PS3 web browser...With out using a keyboard. I have to type my messages with a game controller. :laugh2:

Not a big Fisher fan, but he was just responding to the question. He does have some legitimacy on the issue being on the committee and experiencing the screen's interference with a play first hand, but it's not like his response to the issue was unsolicited.
