Would not be surprised in the least if Nolan wants to keep Heath. He's definitely a Nolan kind of guy. Hard worker and a smart player that is willing to throw his body at anything. Knock Heath all you want, his heart and drive is unquestionable and this team desperately needs more of that.

You know I used to say the same thing but it's pathetic is his defense was they were even worse when he wasn't on the field now do we need an upgrade over him absolutely but I would like to keep him around just for some insurance while we sort out the new Dallas Cowboys for the right price! But I do think he will get some offers and he'll be gone

I want Heath to return. He's invaluable on special teams and would give the Cowboys a backup/nickel safety with starting experience.

I know what all the GOAT jokes mean and I agree Dallas needs to upgrade at safety. But there's still a spot for a Jeff Heath on any team.

I wouldnt say solid. He is good in situations. As a starter he's a JAG. Dallas has been trying to upgrade his spot since last offseason. And that from coaches who dont prioritize the S spot. This team does. I think you could see 2 new S' this yr.

His pursuit to the ball is one of the top on the team. If he’s just another guys, then either make of the defense is jag or severely overpaid. How does a guy with all his so-called overstated limitations as a football player constantly become of the first defender to reach the ball carriers in most situations... it doesn’t make any sense. I wish we could upgrade Heath but he’s made just as many big plays for us as top corner Jones...
