1st round CB's outside Terrell were awful.

2nd round CB's (Johnson, Diggs, Fulton) were expectational. Diggs and Fulton are both examples of good prospects getting overly analytzed and critiqued. Diggs was a potential "system player" and Fulton wasnt good enough at anything. Diggs, we all know about him. Fulton may be the most underrated CB in the NFL
The guy CZ laughed at? I remember that thread well lol

For Okudah, he does look much improved. He seems to be learning the game and looked much improved. He was everywhere against Dallas making tackles
Yeah he seems to be a better star/nickel guy than a pure outside corner. Regardless he showed last year he can play and be a real weapon in a secondary.

I think with where they wanna go schematically as well as his impending FA in 2023 along with them signing some CB’s this offseason it made sense for both parties.

Don’t be surprised to see him make a pro-bowl or two in his career if he’s used like he was when he had success last year.

In the spirit of the season we all need to remember that even consensus slam dunk, can't fail, anyone who says differently is a fool prospects .... can also be busts.

Leading up to that draft any mention that he might not be a generational talent was dismissed as foolishness.

Here we are 3 years later and he's traded for a fifth round pick. A #3 overall for a fifth round pick. He struggled from his first practice. Yes, he's had some injuries but they haven't been the culprit. He just isn't as good as folks thought he was. Okudah has allowed a completion rate of 71% on 56 targets in coverage, giving up 665 yards and two touchdowns in just 10 games played.

As much as the grand slam picks like Parsons can propel you forward, spending a high pick on a player that completely busts can set you back. It is really difficult for an organization to overcome. Thankfully this one wasn't ours.
Remember they said the same thing about Malik Hooker. Remember the 3 year rule and add a year for that COVID 19 2020 draft. Cowboys should have made that trade.

There’s a guy here who said Wentz was the best QB in his class and another who said Parsons would be a bust. Another guy said Kellen Moore was going to be the next great Cowboys QB. All these guys also said Dak sucks.
Well all those guys were right in the end.

The Cowboys said Taco Charlton > TJ Watt.

Chill. Nobody is perfect at this.

Yeah I guess I was wrong supporting taking a cornerback at the top of the draft.

I mean everyone thought it.

Shaddup.

Okudah was such a clean prospect. Checked pretty much all the boxes you look for in a CB. I’m shocked has hasn’t panned out.
His tape did look great. However, what I questioned was his competition. He did not face a single receiver or QB that was a top prospect. (Might have had a few snaps against one receiver, it's been a while) I really like to see a prospect against other prospects. When that doesn't exist, I downgrade my view of the player. You just don't know how tape against lesser opponents is going to translate against the cream of the crop.

You chill. I was just pointing out facts. Your problem of you don’t like it. You’ve made some stupid predictions as well so I guess that’s why you’re playing momma hen.

Sounds like they did good to recover a 5th rounder.
Bust usually get cut.

Everyone does. Even Bill Belichick is awful at drafting.
