That may fool newer posters, GimmeTheBall, but many older posters remember your "50,000 watts" phrase was formerly listed under your avatar. Shame, shame.

Here's the catch. After camp cupcake, a Cowher would be universally hated by most. Some might even quit on Cowher if the coach demands consistent play and extra practice.
This is a team made up of 'stars' in the sense that they have skills and talent.
But these divas might take up to a year to get up to speed.
Good luck to whoever takes over. The Cupcake Culture will not go away easily.

I dont think so. I think the players are sick or Phillips and his approach. It's obviously not working.

It takes a very strong individual to NOT take a week off when the coach says to do so.

It's like having a midterm on Monday, yet your teacher tells you to go out Friday and Saturday night because they have specials at the bar. You know you shouldn't, but the teacher is telling you to, so why not?!

Next semester, you have the same situation, only this time the teacher tells you that it's going to be a hard test so you better study for it. Sure enough, you stay in and study as the teacher suggests.

I think ridding Wade and his philosophies will do this team wonders.
