I don't think his weakness is on daft day because he relies so heavily on his team. That's a plus in my mind given his character.

Where he falters is signing free agents and negotiating the contracts of current players. I don't think he is top ten there.

Yes trading for draft picks and picking players with those picks has Jerry Jones in the Top Ten.

But, that is because he finally stopped the dysfunction in the personnel/scouting department that occurred during the Larry Lacewell era. Jeff Ireland, and Will McClay helped the Cowboys do better at Player Personnel especially draft day trades and drafting. I noticed this when I look over all the trades trying to figure out why Jerry Dumbo GM Jones let Amari Cooper go for 1/2 a 5th round pick.

However, when Jerry does the trading of draft picks for Pro Players, the only trade that worked was Amari Cooper, and we know how that finally ended up with Jerry Dumbo GM Jones.
