If this was being said by some sad behind the times fantasy football player we would all laugh and shake our heads. This is being said by an NFL General Manager. With a straight face.

McCaffrey averaged 3.3 yards before contact.
McCaffrey averaged 5.4 yards per carry.
Difference 2.1 yards.

Pollard averaged 2.1 yards before contact.
Pollard averaged 4.0 yards per carry.
Difference 1.9 yards.

Anyone see a problem here?

Not terribly worried about the RB situation. If the O-line can open holes, any one of the guys on the current roster can run through them.

You mean wannabe general manager. Jerry's proven in the past 28 years that he cannot assemble a superbowl winning team. He's becoming a senile old man and a laughing stock. But as long as they're the most valuable franchise in sports, nothing will change.

Y'all missing the point. The goal is to stay relevant and profitable. Not to win championships. As long as every media service continues to lead with The Dallas Cowboys did, should or can do this. Nothing will change. You can either accept this or grow increasingly bitter and disenfranchised..

Maybe someone in the UFL will shine and we pick them up at RB?
