These guys have no real belief system in terms of building a roster.
The biggest issue in Dallas.
Not their ego (even though that's the root of it).
In football (sports) you have to have a core belief system on building and running a team. You evolve, you adjust, but it's all tied into your central belief system. This allows you to course correct, identify strengths, build on those. Your belief system is proven right and you win championships or it's proven wrong and you go find new leadership (new ideas).
They keep changing up. They are a Front Office with extreme ADHD. Belichick is having success running 12 Personnel. Let's keep throwing 2nd round picks at TE's. Jason Garrett loves leadership, let's draft team captains. Rod Marinelli is going to bring back the 90s Bucs defense? Let's draft a bunch of wannabe Warren Sapps. Dan Quinn is a cool guy. What does he want? DeMarco Murray leaves? Anyone can run behind this line." We were wrong? Let's draft a RB 4th overall. Let's also rush to give him a contract extension 2 years too early. Moved on from Dez Bryant..."We don't need a #1 WR." Wrong again. Let's send a 1st round pick for Amari Cooper.
No belief system, no real plan.
