If Jerry has this urge for decades to be known as the owner to single-handedly bring in a SB and get worshiped for it, it would be reasonable to think ridicule would drive him from the mismanagement he's practiced. But lets compare his mind to mathematics...orderly stuff is much easier to predict than chaos in physics. Coming back from physics to psychology, you can figure out a rational person, but Jerry is difficult to impossible to make football sense.
