The hot hand stuff is BS. Dak shouldnt be watching over his shoulder thinking that if he makes one mistake or has one bad game, Romo will be back in. Name Dak the starter for the rest of the year with no short leash.
He basically did by saying Romo won't be ready till end of season. Who knows what he told dak behind closed doors.

Absolutely not. If he continues to play well I agree with you - if he falters at all Tony is in - as he should be. It's a week to week league and Jerry is not going to risk a shaky rookie in December. I hope Dak continues to play well, I have no problems keeping Romo on the bench, but if not, he's out.

Seems like whenever Jerry speaks there is a thread like this insinuating he is an idiot.
Forgetting he has made billions by being one of the smartest business people alive. Is he perfect -no, but he isn't as dumb as people make him out to be either.

These are the kinds of things that have prevented this franchise from winning the past 20+ years. It's stuff like this that makes me think as long as Jerry is around, we will not win.

The proof is in the film. I like Dak but he's not ready.

I certainly don't want to see another 19 of 39.

Against those same defensive fronts, Romo would have won that game by 30 points.

Sure he's having issues, at times with footwork and technique, but IMO the numbers don't lie. Sure, having Zeke in the backfield takes a load off of him, but for the most part he has been smart with the football.

To me, being not ready would be like if he was putting up Brock Osweiler numbers, but still squeaking out wins. However, outside of a stretch in the Packers game, and the 2nd/3rd quarter of the Eagles game, he has looked like a vet to me.

Whats Romos record in December? Specifically, Romos stats in week 17?

I would think a string of bad games would allow Romo to start.

Not hard to make money owning the Dallas Cowboys. Cowboys have not won in over 20 years...yet the value of the franchise keeps going up and is the highest valued franchise in all of sports. There are zero financial repercussions for anything he says or does. So is he smart...or the rest of us dumb?

Please. You don't even know if Romo can take a hit.

A healthy Romo would have destroyed that defense. Obviously, I know that the Eagles would have never tried that against Romo.

Right...and why in Jim Schwartz's right mind would he allow Romo to play untouched?

I've met Jerry, and believe me, he is no idiot. But he is fun to listen to.

I am assuming Romo can take a hit.

I've never seen a team basically play with no safeties half the game and Dak couldn't make them pay for it.

Dak is preventing us from blowing out our opponents but Jerry doesn't see that . Wonder why ?

Is Jerry going to blow the season by letting Dak continue to lead us to these close victories. Eventually it will cost us . Right?

Remember these last 3 games were going to expose Dak. We were missing how Dak could throw the deep ball, then could he lead us back in Romo fashion in 4 th qtr.

Now , we should be blowing out our biggest game this year for the divisional lead . Damn Dak. What a bum. Lol

Only Romo can lead us to the promise land

No way to know that. Romo's last game we lost 33-13, he had 100 yards passing, 3 INT, 0 TDs, 2 pick 6s. He completed about 50% of his passes for a QB Rating of 29.

Not saying we would have the same result, but that is just crazy wishful thinking.
