Again you are clinging to narratives that don't exist with this particular team and this offensive line.

The closest we can get is 2014 when he was 22-34 2 TD's 1 INT and a 100 QB rating in game 17.

But I'll bite - let's go back five years in game 17--

2014 100 QB rating in game 17
2013 DNP
2012 55 QB rating in game 17
2011 106 QB rating in game 17
2010 DNP
2009 106 QB rating in game 17

You just knocked some helmets off with that hit!

Meanwhile Romo is 5th all-time in the number of 4th quarter comebacks. He's crazy clutch.

But now...I must also painfully add: he's 36 and half of his torso has undergone reconstruction.

He should be running the team but not the GM side. Excellent owner, lacking as a GM
But if football operations is an important or critical aspect in ownership then by continuing to retain himself as GM detracts from his ownership .

Basically as fans we'd sacrifice achievements hes made in ownership if he'd take a lesser role in football operations. It's certainly not important to me as a fan if we're #1 in revenue or most popular , biggest , wealthiest , etc .

Those accomplishments are only flattering or bragging rights if we are among the best on the football field . So, IMO and fans I know feel that his shortcomings as insisting on being GM has taken away from his ownership which we can't seperate as your appearing to attempt.

People keep saying what a great owner Jerry Jones is. Really? A great owner would have hired a great GM years ago and gave his long suffering supporters something to hope and cheer for. I am not buying it. He is, in fact, an egomaniac that would'nt concede anything unless forced too.
