Jerry cancels his annual combine interview from team bus

This is very unlike Jerry. In the past he’d be willing to cancel team events so he could get his face on tv a little bit. Remember when he landed a helicopter on the field the team was practicing on? This event is the biggest offseason event before the draft, EVERYONE is watching… and he declines.

I’m still baselessly predicting this may be health related

Jerry may be avoiding having to answer any q’s about his upcoming jury trial in August with a woman who has accused him of forcibly kissing her at a team function in 2021.

I have no idea if he’s guilty or innocent - put another way, he’s innocent until proven guilty. But he’s going to have to testify in public court under oath. Which puts him in the spotlight and unable to get out of it. I guess they could still settle out of court.

JJ has tried to get it tossed and it went all the way to Texas Supreme Court who ruled the trial will be allowed.

Have no idea if this has any influence on Jerry’s avoidance of public appearances right now but the last time I remember him avoiding all cameras an notebooks was in 2014, right after all those embarrassing photos emerged with him and a couple of strippers.

If only we could put him under oath before he spoke about the Cowboys.

This is the reason why my daughter has stopped being a Cowboys fan for now. She just can't get on board with a team that has an older creepy dude running the team.

I don't blame her, but I did tell her you don't have a lot of options in regards to NFL owners. Lots of wealthy creepy dudes with skeletons in their closet. And the league is peppered with fans who will put up with this behaviour as if it is normal and acceptable for rich men.
