Tonight Jerry does what we needed for the last 9+ years and people complain. He is right. the coaches stunk this year. The buck stops with him. He needs to ensure that the team doesn't get out coached. I can't believe that people are attacking him. The #1 thing is to take JG out and get a real coach that understands it's about game planning against good teams. If we keep lining up man on man we will get killed over and over again like we did the past 9+ years

hmm....feel free to defend Jason but it's been a very long time since anyone has done that. I'm done with that and I'm not believing that any real Cowboy fans are either. Have you guys read the board over the past few years? I know people feel like Jerry is a part of the problem but JG has been the one pulling strings every week and we have been no better than average every year. Feel free Jason to walk away with your head head held high but you have hurt this franchise and kept us down for a long time.

All of the posts tonight are ripping on Jerry. But Jerry has only been a part of the problem this season. Or frankly most of them the past decade. But tonight once Jerry finally has the bl#$s to call him out eveyone attacked him.

Been here longer than you think...riddle me this , why did Jerry give Garrett an extension ? seems like he should have moved on then. I for one am not defending Garrett , I think he should have been let go years ago. I just don't think it's cool like others to call out your head coach through the media. What purpose does that serve? He just told his players that their coach sucks ,removed them from accountability and now have a game on Thurs. Built in excuse for the players...Jerry says coach sucks.

It has honestly been longer than JG but that doesn't mean that he doesn't need to go. I'm freaking tired of watching him try to line up and beat other teams without any focus on their weaknesses. That is why we can't beat better teams even when we have the best talent on the field

Jerry doesn't usually throw his coaches under the bus like this, nor should he if he wishes to retain them. That's normally a private conversation so we must not be in normal times. I very much believe Jerry's mind is 90% made up to make a coaching change at the end of the season.

As for the premise of the thread, "Jerry can't win", he is a billionaire, a successful businessman, owns the Dallas Cowboys, owns his own helicopter and yacht, has a family that loves him and is highly respected. He is winning. If public opinion sometimes disagrees with him, I doubt he hardly dwells on it.

Jerry has presided over 23 years of futility by choice. His ego won't allow him to delegate responsibility because he wants the credit if things go well.

He has gone through five coaches and still can't win anything. For him to now publicly criticize his coach is an act of cowardice. He's deflecting blame for decisions he made, so pardon me if I don't pat him on the back for it.
