Jerry comments on Lawrence

I agree. I was just pointing out that not all torn labrum require surgery like falling star was saying.
All torn labrum need surgery. Even a slight one. If theres no surgery it will heal but uneven and he will be with pain. As he gets older it will be worse. A slight tear will require just a cleanup and will be out a month probably. He;s already working out so it cant be a bad injury. JUst dont understand his stance on no surgery until a deal is struck. Any new team would want him 100% aswell. Stupid stance by him if you ask me.

I'm not a doctor nor do I have any say over DLaw. However, I think that he should have the surgery. The season will come and go. His health and body will remain. He needs to keep his body right, even if it means surgery.

Not according to the medical community.

What do you think his market value is?

I think a fair number is 14-15 mil a year...@ 4years. That would put him @ his age 31 year...then cut him lose. He's paid his dues. Was the good soldier on the franchise tag...and earned a fair deal. Question is....is Jerry's fatuation for our crappy QB going to cloud his vision?

LOL..........wait, are you claiming that Tank is the emotional leader of the team? Since when?

Dak is the leader of this team and its not even close.
“Emotional Leader” is different from the leader of the team. Irvin, Dez, etc, were emotional leaders of the team.

For a pro athlete, no doubt. I destroyed my shoulder recently but that's another topic.

I tend to agree but you know he isn't taking that. He wants to be paid like the best in the league.

I thought we were going cheap in FA because we 'sign our own' but we don't even really manage to do that.

You mean, the same one working arm that got double digits sacks the past two years, that one working arm DE?

Just cause you not aware of what's up don't mean nobody else is, and that's your own fault... I'm like DLaw, my fingers not working to provide you a link till you sign over a check!

He started the season strong and became a non-factor for the playoffs. He's taking a big chance playing this game while not 100%. Get the damn surgery!

Lawrence's agent's logic is stupid. He should have had that surgery the day after they lost to the Rams....everyday he gets older, everyday the injury will get harder to heal. I'm with Jed on this one.

I guess Jerry doesn't like being held hostage which is what Lawrence has done here. A 20 million dollar franchise tag was offered but he wants to pout and not get his shoulder fixed. Which means if they don't give him a deal he's going to pout and do his surgery after the season starts. So you are stuck paying someone 20 Mil to rehab from a surgery he should have had months ago.
