Jerrys words in quotes.

They didn't televise the questioin that Jerry was asked.

"I really don't expect not to have some setbacks.I just don't want to have em' ".He then started babbling and I couldn't catch his exact words.Something about didn't want any setbacks for the next three games but unfortunately they did.If they didn't have any setbacks they could talk about it on a different plane."Tonight won't impact the way i'm feeling about the job Wades doing and how pleased I am with him".

Nate Newton seems to be still on the Wade wagon,I think Big Nate has been smoking some of his product on that one.

I sure don't like Jerrys' comments about "stay-puff".

Yeah, things will be much better if Jerry keeps firing coaches every other year like Commanders.....

I think three years of Wade is enough,I just don't see Wade as the answer.

As much criticism as Wade gets, has anyone really done an analysis of why he was 0-4 in the playoff stints with his other teams pre-Dallas?

I know in Buffalo he should have beat the Titans if not for the miracle play.

What about the other three times?

The defense, which is Wade's forte, doesn't seem to be problematic to me right now. It's the offense that seems to be bringing Wade down.

I think Reeves was an attempt to help, and was sought due to Wade, and I'm beginning to believe it was more Garrett than Jones who didn't want him here.

That's often not an issue when you don't hire perennial failures for HC.

Or keeping inept puppets and frankenstein staffs that are forced upon them by management, becuase that has worked so well for the Cowboys.

Not every one "Believed" after beating the Eagles. A team who many claimed are on their way down any way. We faced true competition today. We by all accounts should have played better. I'm not pointing the finger at Phillips, but he is the head of the animal.

See, I just don't really think this game has Wade's finger prints all over it. Sure, the head coach is ultimately to blame or credit. But what's a head coach's role? To have a team mentally and physically ready, and in Wade's case, to call a good defensive plan.

I don't look at this loss as a game where we were an emotional trainwreck, or where we simply got outcoached up and down the field. And if there was a coaching deficiency, I'd argue it was on the offensive side.

A Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the team no? If he can't get in JG's butt, he's worthless. All I know is this team didn't show up today, that falls on the HC and management. Lord knows management isn't going to change. I bet you any thing Phillips has shouldered the blame for today and our players are fine with that. That would be Philips fault also.

From everything I've ever seen in the NFL, if a head coach is clearly inhbited by his coordinator he usually gets the chance to fire said coordinator and try to prove his worth with 'his' guy. See Lovie this season.

I just think we're heading down a dangerous path if we fire Wade right here and right now. If, say, Gruden steps in and takes us to the playoffs next year ... only to get bounced in this same round ... is he shown the door, too?

I think next year becomes a pivotal year for Wade, but then every year is. I just don't think we fire a head coach who ends a 13-year-playoff drought with a team few expected to win the division.

Yep. If we actually are able to finish drives against some of the worst corners in football early on, the game would've been a lot different.

But oh well. Season's over. Time to get hyped for the draft.

I look at Wades' time here and I don't see him being anything other than what he is,a good coordinator but a lousy head coach.I see a likeable man that isn't cut out to be a great head coach.I look at the 2nd half collapse in 2007 to the Giants followed by the drubbing in 2008 to the Eagles and now the loss today as his body of work.If two of those losses weren't blowouts I may be a little more receptive when it comes to Wade.Fair or not the buck stops with the HC who happens to be Wade Phillips.

Our offense, but more specifically the offensive line failed us today, but our D did no favors.

No turnovers, after forcing nearly 10 over the last four weeks.

then we have a GM problem. He won't get fired.
