First of all it he’s still in a cast as seen on the sideline last week. Secondly, they have no clue what’s going to happen as far as grip etc yet.

It's expected his stitches will be removed this week, but it does seem hard to believe he'll be ready to play an NFL game 10 or 11 days later.

But Dak will want to play and Jerry wants him to play, so who knows? It's the Cowboys.

Im hoping for the best for Dak and the team but if he comes back early and performs like Russell Wilson did last year, the profanity laced tirade I’m going to unleash is going to get me banned.

Is this type of thing handled differently on other teams?
Just seems strange.

I wonder why they don't want the Cooper era to continue any longer than they deem necessary?
It's a double-edged sword for the FO, if they bring Dak back too soon and he has setbacks and reinjures, then you're really kicking the can down the road.
They are either panicking because they have zero confidence in Rush, or they want to get Rush out of the mix as soon as they can to avoid any drama.
Either way rushing Dak back prematurely is an unwise move.

When's he's not a headcase, Dak is a far better QB than Rush.

Well, with 6 years experience plus all the practice as a 1 he should be. But the better question is since mid 2017, when has he not been a headcase?

Answer, only when playing teams who couldn't rattle him and the team skill was tilted way toward Dallas.

If Dak comes back and plays like he has been playing it's going to get ugly.

LOL.

If you are going to say something make it factual. Dak was horrible from game 7 of last season onwards. Before that Dak was playing very well. Like top 5 well. After the Pats game he fell off completely though.

If you are going to trash talk at least be accurate.

That's not even accurate because he still played very well against the division opponents late in the season.

Dak playing 3 weeks after a surgically repaired throwing hand is not going to be pretty. Talk about a train wreck!
he plays when hes healed and cleared no different so stop the nonsense..

Rusell Wilson played after 3 games missed, he had a surgically repaired broken middle finger last year.. umm ok

so whats the difference, oh wait it Jerry... go it

these turn into Jerry flame threads. If daks ready, he will play, if hes not he wont. he is the starting qb..got it all of you above they aren't rushing him back they will have doctors clear him, he will have to show he can throw the ball normally and he will come back..im betting rams game ..

its not the first or the last payers come back when they are ready and 3 weeks for that injury happened just last year..

so stop the drama, the conspiracy's and of you think the way Rush played last game was somehow an indicator of him taking the job, you better go look how that game flowed defensively, sts, run game etc.. Dak gets his job back it was a known fact before the Cinci game.
