We can list all the excuses for this team's mediocrity, but this will most likely be the 3rd season in a row we piss the division away because we lose a couple games each season like this. Only this team can find ways to lose games that are almost impossible to lose and its all because of sheer stupidity from this coaching staff.

Bash Jerry all you want, but the truth is, he has given these coaches a good enough team to win the division for at least 3 years in a row and the coaching stupidity has pissed away the opportunity.

This entire coaching staff should be fired. I dont care if we do win the division, they should all be gone.

Even Jerry deserves better.
Jerry deserved better? It's his fault. He interjects himself into situations he has no business being involved in. He hired these crap coaches. He hired an inexperienced OC and then promoted that unqualified ****** to head coach.

We deserve better than Jerry and so does this team.

Jerry is getting exactly what he deserves.

We deserve better.

Truth.

How anyone can say Jerry has given the coaches enough talent is borderline insanity.

This team had so little depth on the DL that they were rotating street Free Agents after about week 1 of the season. Long before the finality of the Spencer and Ratliff sagas. Back when they were expected to be back but because there was nobody capable on the roster they had to have tryouts every other day to find someone.

Same guy who went out and picked up a couple of scrap heap OGs and had Nate Livings and Mack battle it out for the "At Least We Aren't Doug Free" award of 2012. Same guy knowingly let the C position rot in 2012 while pimping these reservists and backups like they were All-Pros, only to turn around the following year and use a 1st round pick on a C.

Same guy who spent $50M for a free agent CB who's best attributes are physicality; spent a 1st and 2nd round pick on "the best DB grade since Deion" who's supposed to be a similar physical CB; and then after 1 year immediately switched to a Tampa 2 scheme that doesn't even utilize these abilities to a great extent.

Look at the number of starting safeties they have had start, and not because of injury but because that's who the team picked. Allen, Sensy, Elam, Wilcox, Church. How would a team with so much talent every need to rotate safeties every year? These were all guys tabbed as the starters going into camp and yet their being cycled in and out like plastic kitchenware.
Given them all they need? Who is they anyway? This coaching staff has more people coming and going than a Amsterdam brothel.

The team has had almost a half-dozen different DCs at one point or another in the past 4-5 seasons. Brian Stewart, Wade Phillips, Paul P, Rob Ryan, Monte Kiffin. Callahan has been around 2 years.

Monte Kiffin, Rod Marinelli, and STs Coach Bisaccia are all new this year.

They swap WR coaches in and out almost every year. Ray Sherman out, Jimmy Robinson in. Jimmy Robinson out, Derek Dooley in.

Skip Pete railroaded out of town, Gary Brown you are up.....have fun during your first year in 2013.

Bill Callahan has been around for 2 seasons.

Jerome Henderson in his second year, taking over after Dave Campo fell outside of Jerry's "Circle of Trust".
I'm not even sure who "they" are anyway because hardly any of the coaches on the team have been around for longer than a year or 2.

The only thing Jerry has given his coaches over the last 3 years is a short leash and a handful of pink slips. It's honestly amazing how Garrett has survived so long. When you look at how little patience Jerry has had with almost everyone else, Jason is like a case of the herpes.....just keeps coming back.

The problem with Jerry is, I think making money is more important than winning to him. I'm not saying he doesn't want to win but that is not his number one goal.

Jerry Jones is getting exactly as he deserves.

He wants his hands all over it, he wants the credit for all of it, well, he gets credit for what is taking place.

He doesn't deserve better - his customers do.

Enough talent? The talent on this team is overrated. You can see it in the lack if depth over the years. It's all come to a head now. Who do we blame for that? I can only think of one toupee wearing, stretch faced billionaire in Dallas.

Ha, Jerrys deserves even worse, the only solace I get from the Cowboys failure is Jerry's misery

I don't hink Jerry cares about losing. If he cared about losing he would do what is necessary to win. He won't do what is needed to fix this team, him not micro-managing. So the Jerry the owner, GM, fan and any other title you want to attach to this loser doesn't care if we lose as long as he makes his money and gets national attention. I truly hate this person and wish he bought the Chargers and not the Cowboys, I hate him as a Owner, GM, and even as a person. He's a loser, he has a loser's mentality and this rubs off on the players.

Sums it up perfectly. The whole defense scheme change is one that really just blows my mind. I haven't got the slightest clue about building a football team compared to a NFL level coach, and it was completely obvious that switching to zone after investing so much in man CB's the year before was idiotic.

And now here we are this late in the season and they are trying to play these guys at the line of scrimmage in their "natural habitat". Wow, we must have one hell of a think tank going on up there Valley Ranch.

Since I've joined here this may be the worst thread started. Jerry hired Garrett. He hired the OC. He hired the DC to because things were uncomfortable. He didnb't draft anyone for the Dline but more TEs and WRs. So basically it starts with Jerry and Garrett is next.

Thanks to the OP, I sorely needed a laugh after today's scrotum kick. Afterall, this thread has to be a bit, right?
