Despite the current public opinion there is no way in heck Jerry will be the one to decide who plays week 9.

Garrett and Linehan will make that call. Steven will back their decision. They may make a "recommendation" in a subsequent meeting but there is no way in the world Jerry will override their opinion.

As much as I think Jerry is an old man that is losing his mind, do I in no way believe he has the power to override everyone else.

People need to stop complaining about Jerry doing something he doesn't have power to do.

Yeah you just don't understand the Cowboys organization very well if you think Jerry CAN'T make the decision. He can do whatever he wants heck if he wants butt fumble to start tonight there's no one that can override him on that. He wil get a lot of crap for it from his son and everyone in the organization, but if he wanted to he can.

However in the last few years he does seem to be giving more power to his son Stephen. Jerry wanted Manziel Stephen disagreed. But that means that Jerry agreed with son not to draft Manziel it doesn't mean he couldn't have.
